Privacy-First Design: Tickdrop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your task lists stay exclusively on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Tickdrop (“the App”) handles information. The App is developed by Francesco Sgnaolin (“Developer”, “we”, “us”).

This policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws worldwide.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

Tickdrop is designed with privacy as a core principle. The Developer does not collect, process, or have access to any of the following:

All your task lists, settings, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to any server controlled by the Developer.

3. Local Data Storage

3.1 What is stored locally

The App stores the following information locally on your device:

Important: This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

3.2 Data Export and Backup

The App provides a manual backup feature that allows you to:

The exported file contains only your task lists and app settings and contains no personally identifiable information. You have full control over this file and where you store it.

3.3 Data Deletion

You can delete all your local data at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion or uninstalling the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

4. Notifications

4.1 Notification Permission

The App’s core functionality relies on displaying persistent notifications containing your task lists. On devices running Android 13 (API 33) or higher, the App will request the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission. This permission is required solely to display your pinned task lists in the notification shade and can be revoked at any time through your device’s system settings.

4.2 Notification Data

The content displayed in notifications (task names, completion status, list titles) is generated and rendered entirely on your device. This data:

Unpinning a list or clearing the notification immediately removes this data from the notification system.

5. Third-Party Services

While the Developer does not collect personal data, the App integrates with third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

5.1 Google Play Store

The App is distributed through Google Play Store. When you download, review, or make purchases, Google may collect information as described in their privacy policy. The Developer receives only anonymous, aggregated statistics from Google and has no access to individual user data.

5.2 Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)

The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (Tickdrop Plus) to unlock additional features.

All payment processing is handled exclusively by Google Play. The Developer never receives, processes, or has access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing data. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed.

6. Advertising

Tickdrop does not display any advertisements. The App does not integrate with any advertising platform or ad network. No advertising-related data is collected, processed, or shared.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

9. International Data Transfers
