Effective Date: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Storm Lane (“Storm Lane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, processes, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use the Storm Lane mobile application and its related VPN services.
By downloading, accessing, or using Storm Lane, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. VPN Service and VpnService Usage
Storm Lane uses Android’s VpnService to establish a secure, device-level VPN tunnel.
When you activate the VPN, supported network traffic is encrypted and transmitted between your device and the selected VPN server endpoint. Temporary processing of network traffic is necessary to operate the VPN service.
Storm Lane requests authorization through the Android system VPN interface before establishing a connection. You may disconnect the VPN at any time through the app or your device settings.
Storm Lane does not use VpnService to redirect or manipulate traffic from other applications for advertising monetization.
2. VPN Traffic
Storm Lane temporarily processes supported network traffic for transmission through the VPN tunnel.
Storm Lane is designed not to intentionally inspect, record, or permanently retain:
Website content transmitted through the VPN;
Complete browsing histories;
Communication content transmitted through third-party services;
Passwords or authentication credentials entered on third-party services;
Message content from third-party applications; or
DNS request content for advertising or behavioral profiling.
VPN traffic content is not used to build advertising profiles or provide targeted advertising.
Storm Lane does not guarantee complete anonymity. Third-party websites, applications, internet service providers, device manufacturers, and other services may separately collect or process information under their own policies.
