Privacy Policy for SpendWise Money

SpendWise Money is an offline personal money tracking app designed to help users manually record income, expenses, savings goals, and financial progress. This Privacy Policy explains how SpendWise Money handles information.
1. Information We Collect
SpendWise Money does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide personal identity information.
The app allows users to manually enter financial tracking information, such as:
- Current balance
- Income records
- Expense records
- Transaction categories
- Notes
- Savings goals
- Goal contribution history
- Goal images or photos added by the user
This information is entered voluntarily by the user and is used only to provide the app’s tracking features.
2. Local Device Storage
SpendWise Money is designed to work offline. User data is stored locally on the user’s device using Apple’s local storage technologies.
SpendWise Money does not upload user financial records to a SpendWise server. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes user financial tracking data.
3. No Bank Connection
SpendWise Money does not connect to bank accounts, payment providers, credit cards, investment accounts, or other financial institutions.
All balances, transactions, goals, and analytics shown in the app are based only on information manually entered by the user.
4. No Real Money Movement
SpendWise Money is not a bank, wallet, payment service, investment platform, lending service, insurance product, accounting service, tax service, or financial adviser. The app does not move, hold, receive, send, invest, borrow, lend, or protect real money. Any changes made inside the app only affect the user’s local tracking records.
5. Data Export
SpendWise Money may allow users to export their data as a CSV file. Exporting data is controlled by the user. Once exported, the user is responsible for where the file is saved, shared, or stored.
6. Goal Images
If users add images or photos to savings goals, those images are stored locally with the goal data on the user’s device. Goal images are used only to display the related savings goal inside the app.
7. Data Deletion
Users may delete transactions, goals, goal contribution history, custom categories, or clear app data within the app.
Because SpendWise Money stores data locally, deleting the app, clearing app data, resetting the device, or losing access to the device may remove local records. Users should export or back up important records if they want to keep them.
8. Third-Party Services
SpendWise Money does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or external financial data services.
9. Advertising
SpendWise Money does not display third-party advertising.
10. Children’s Privacy
SpendWise Money is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not include social features, messaging, public profiles, or user-generated content sharing.
11. Security
User data is stored locally on the device. Device-level security, such as passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and iCloud/device backups, is managed by Apple and the user’s device settings.
Users are responsible for keeping their device secure and for maintaining backups of any records they want to preserve.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
