SolveSync collects the following data to provide its functionality:
GitHub Username: Collected during the OAuth authorization process to associate your LeetCode solutions with your GitHub account.
OAuth Access Token: Used to securely authenticate and authorize the uploading of your solutions to your GitHub repository.
2. How We Use Your Data:
The GitHub username and OAuth token are solely used to commit your LeetCode solutions to your GitHub repository.
We do not use your data for any other purpose, such as analytics, advertising, or sharing with third parties.
3. Data Storage:
Your OAuth token and GitHub username are stored locally within your browser's storage and are not transmitted to any third-party services other than GitHub for authentication purposes.
Your data is only used during the extension's operation and remains within your control.
4. Third-Party Services:
SolveSync uses GitHub's OAuth for authentication. For more information on how GitHub handles your data, refer to GitHub's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Security:
We use secure OAuth protocols to protect your credentials.
We do not store or process your data on external servers except for the SolveSync backend service, which handles OAuth token exchanges securely.
6. Your Choices:
You can remove your stored data (GitHub token and username) at any time by using the "Clear Data" button in the extension settings.
To revoke SolveSync's access to your GitHub account, visit your GitHub Authorized Applications.
