Effective Date: September 8, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Sudoku ("the App") handles information on your device. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a transparent experience.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or location) to external servers.
The App generates and stores the following data locally on your device:
Game Progress: Information about current unfinished games to allow you to resume play.
Statistics: Data regarding puzzles solved, time taken, mistakes made, win rates, and streaks.
Preferences: User settings such as theme choices, sound effects, and vibration toggles.
The data stored on your device is used strictly for the App's functionality:
To maintain your game history and progress.
To display your personal performance statistics.
To persist your customization settings across app launches.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This data collection is governed by Google's own privacy policies.
AdMob may automatically collect the following data from your device:
Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID / IDFA)
IP address and approximate location (country/region level)
App usage information and interaction data
Device type, operating system version, and language settings
Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
AdMob uses this data to:
Display relevant advertisements within the App
Measure ad performance and effectiveness
Prevent fraudulent ad activity
Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
The App displays the following types of ads:
Rewarded Ads: Voluntarily watched by users in exchange for in-game benefits (e.g., free hints). No data is collected beyond standard AdMob metrics.
Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads shown at natural transition points (e.g., after completing a puzzle).
You can manage your advertising preferences through your device settings:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

The App integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK (play-services-ads). By using the App, you agree to AdMob's terms of service. The SDK may initialize network connections to Google's servers to load and serve advertisements.
Except for advertising data processed by Google AdMob (as described in Section 3), no personal data is shared, sold, or transferred to any third parties or to the developer. All gameplay data remains exclusively on your device.
The App requests the following permissions for specific features:
INTERNET: Required to load and display advertisements via Google AdMob. The App itself does not use this permission to transmit any personal gameplay data.
VIBRATE: Used to provide haptic feedback when a mistake is made or a puzzle is completed. This can be disabled in App settings.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used by AdMob to check network connectivity before loading ads.
All gameplay data is stored locally on your device. Its security relies on your device's built-in security features (such as screen lock and device encryption). Advertising data is handled by Google AdMob in accordance with their security standards. We recommend keeping your device secure and your operating system up to date.
Our App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App is rated for general audiences. Google AdMob has its own policies for child-directed content under COPPA and similar regulations. We do not configure the App as child-directed in AdMob settings.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable laws. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
