1. Introduction

Shuttle Sort ("the App") is a mobile application for managing game sessions, players, matches, and related data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect and Store

Data stored on your device only

The App stores the following information only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers.

Profile information: Display name (up to 12 characters) and optional profile photo (stored as a local file path).

App preferences: Theme choice (e.g. default/light/dark) and similar settings.

Game data: Sessions, player names, match results (scores, sets), and tournament/bracket information.

Friends list: Names and optional profile images you add for quick selection in games.

Trophies and badges: Progress, pending trophies, and collected badges used for in-app features.

This data is stored using the device’s local database and preferences storage. We do not have access to it.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

Personal identification beyond what you enter in the App (e.g. no email, phone, or account sign-in unless you add such a feature later).

Location data.

Usage analytics or crash reports (unless you add such services later and disclose them here).

Advertising identifiers or data for ads (unless you add ads later and update this policy).

4. Third-Party Services

Currently, the App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social login. If we add such services in the future (e.g. ads or analytics), we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

5. Data Backup and Transfer

The App may be included in your device’s backup (e.g. Android backup). Backup content is controlled by your device and account settings.

We do not transfer your in-app data to our servers or to other devices unless you explicitly use a feature we provide for that purpose (e.g. export/import), in which case the data stays under your control.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data (e.g. via Android Settings → Apps → Shuttle Sort → Storage → Clear data).

We do not retain your data on our systems because we do not collect it.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information through the App, please contact us and we will work to remove it from the device (e.g. by guiding you to clear app data or uninstall).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we may notify you in the App or via the store listing.
