This Privacy Policy describes how PDFly ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application.
By using the PDFly App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

User-Provided Information :
1. Document Files: When you upload documents (PPT, Word, XLS) to the App, these files are stored on our Firebase Storage backend.
2. Authentication Information : If you use authentication features (like signing in), we may collect information necessary for account creation and management, which is handled by Firebase Authentication.
Automatically Collected Information:
Usage Data: We may collect information on how you access and use the App, such as the types of documents you view, features you use, and the time and duration of your activities. This may be collected via Firebase services (like Firebase Analytics, if enabled).
Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Advertising Information: The App uses Google Mobile Ads. Google and its partners may collect and use data, including unique identifiers, for advertising purposes, such as serving personalized ads. This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
* To provide and maintain the functionality of the App, including storing and allowing you to view your uploaded documents.
* To improve, personalize, and expand our App.

3. Data Storage and Retention
1. Document Files: The document files you upload are stored securely in Firebase Storage. As per our policy, these files are automatically deleted after 30 days from the date of upload. You can also delete the firebase stored files data directly from PDFly application.
4. Sharing Your Information
We may share your information in the following situations:
With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as Firebase for backend storage and authentication, and Google for advertising.
With Affiliates: We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
With Business Partners: We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.
With Your Consent: We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your consent.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Firebase: We use Firebase services (Storage, potentially Analytics). Firebase's data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Mobile Ads: We use Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements. Google's use of advertising identifiers is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
