LC App Studio ("we," "us," or "our") operates Notepad - Notes To Do List (the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We aim to collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the App's functionality.
Depending on the features you use, the App may access or process the following categories of information.
The App may allow you to create and store notes, tasks, checklists, reminders, and other content.
This information is used to provide the App's core functionality, including displaying, organizing, editing, and managing your notes and tasks.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, your locally stored notes and other user-created content are not intentionally transmitted to us.
The App may request microphone access for features that require audio input.
Microphone access is used only when you activate or use a feature that requires it. The App does not use the microphone for continuous background recording unless such functionality is explicitly provided and disclosed to you.
If audio is processed by a particular feature, it is handled only as necessary to provide that feature.
You can revoke microphone permission at any time through your Android device settings.
The App may access information necessary for normal operation, such as:
Internet/network connectivity status;
Wi-Fi/network state;
Android operating system version;
App version;
Device configuration and technical information;
Diagnostics and crash information;
Information required to maintain app functionality and security.
This information may be processed automatically by the App or by third-party services integrated into the App.
The App may request notification permission to provide reminders, task notifications, alerts, and other user-requested notifications.
Notification permission is used to deliver notifications associated with App functionality.
You can disable notification permission through your Android device settings.
The App may use Android's alarm functionality to schedule reminders or other user-requested time-sensitive actions.
The SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM permission may be used when a feature requires an action to occur at a precise time.
Exact alarms are intended for user-facing functionality such as precisely timed reminders. Android requires special access for apps using exact alarms on applicable versions of Android.
You can manage this permission through your Android device settings.
The App may request access to device storage or media when necessary for features such as importing, exporting, selecting, or managing user content.
On older Android versions, the App may use Android storage permissions where required by the operating system.
You can manage applicable storage or media permissions through your Android device settings.
The App may request permission to set the device wallpaper when you use a feature that provides wallpaper functionality.
The wallpaper permission is used only to perform the wallpaper-related action requested by you.
The App declares support for Google's advertising identifier (AD_ID).
If advertising functionality or an advertising SDK is enabled in a particular version of the App, advertising providers may process advertising identifiers and other information permitted by their services to provide, measure, or personalize advertising in accordance with their applicable policies.
If advertising is not enabled in a particular version of the App, the presence of the permission declaration alone does not mean that advertising information is actively collected.
You can manage advertising-related settings through your Android device and Google account settings.
Information accessed or collected by the App may be used for purposes including:
Providing the App's core functionality;
Creating and managing notes, tasks, checklists, and reminders;
Delivering notifications and scheduled reminders;
Providing audio-related features when requested;
Importing, exporting, or managing user content;
Providing wallpaper-related functionality;
Maintaining app security and reliability;

Complying with applicable laws and legal obligations.
We do not use personal or sensitive information for purposes unrelated to the functionality reasonably expected from the App.
We do not sell your personal or sensitive information.

These services may include, depending on the version and configuration of the App:
Google services;
Firebase services, including crash reporting;
Advertising services, if advertising is enabled;
Other technical service providers required for App functionality.
Third-party service providers may process certain technical, diagnostic, advertising, or other information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
Protect the rights, safety, or property of users, us, or others;
Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues;
Protect the integrity and security of the App.
Google Play requires developers to disclose relevant third-party data practices and remains responsible for ensuring that third-party SDKs used in an app comply with applicable Google Play requirements.
The App may store notes, tasks, settings, preferences, reminders, and other user-generated information locally on your device.
If information is stored locally, it generally remains under the control of your device and is not automatically transmitted to LC App Studio.
Deleting the App, clearing its data, or using Android's storage controls may delete locally stored information. You should maintain your own backup of important information where appropriate.
If a future version of the App introduces cloud synchronization, online accounts, or other remote-storage functionality, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those practices.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Information stored locally by the App generally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove it through Android or the App's functionality.
Diagnostic or technical information processed by third-party services may be retained according to the applicable service provider's retention policies.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App.
Where information is transmitted over the Internet, appropriate security measures such as encrypted network communication may be used where supported by the relevant service.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information.
Google Play's policies require developers handling personal and sensitive user data to use appropriate security measures and modern encryption for data transmission where applicable.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for the purpose of creating profiles or accounts.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in a manner that violates applicable law, please contact us using the email address below.
If the App is later offered as a child-directed service or its audience changes, we will update our privacy practices as required by applicable law and Google Play policies.
The App may contain or use third-party libraries and services.
Examples of technologies included in the App may include Android/Jetpack libraries, Google services, Firebase services, advertising-related components, analytics or diagnostic components, and other open-source or third-party libraries.
Third-party services may independently collect or process information according to their own privacy policies.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of relevant third-party providers when applicable.
You can control many aspects of information access through your Android device settings.
Depending on your Android version, you may be able to:
Grant or deny microphone permission;
Grant or deny notification permission;
Manage alarm and reminder access;
Manage storage or media permissions;
Disable notifications;
Disable or restrict advertising personalization;
Clear the App's locally stored data;
Uninstall the App.
Denying a permission may prevent the corresponding App feature from working.
The current version of the App does not require you to create an account in order to use its core note-taking functionality.
Because there is no required user account, there is no App account to delete.
If future versions introduce account creation or cloud-based accounts, we will provide an appropriate method for users to request account deletion and will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, applicable laws, or our data practices.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You should periodically review this Privacy Policy for the latest information about our privacy practices.
