Privacy Policy for LovedOnes
Effective date: September 25, 2026
Protecting your personal information is very important to us. Below, we inform you about how the Android application LovedOnes (hereinafter referred to as the "App") handles data.
1. Data Controller
Responsible for data processing in connection with the App is:
Nawid Chamani (CatCow)
CatCow.Studio@gmail.com
2. Core Principle: Local Storage & Data Minimization
LovedOnes was designed to ensure maximum privacy.
No Cloud Storage: All contact data you store in the app (such as names, phone numbers, and photos for the tiles) is saved exclusively locally on your device.
No Server Transmission: At no time are your personal contacts or emergency data transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
3. Access to Device Functions (Permissions)
For the App to perform its core functions, it may require access to certain device features. These permissions are used exclusively locally on your device:
Contacts / Phone (Call Permission): Required to place a direct phone call to the corresponding emergency number or contact when tapping a tile.
Storage / Photos: Used to select and locally display a profile picture for the respective contact tiles.
4. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
No Ads: The app is 100% ad-free.
No Tracking: The app does not use tracking tools, analytics software (such as Google Analytics for Firebase, etc.), and does not create user profiles.
5. Data Collection by the Google Play Store
When you download the app via the Google Play Store, Google LLC automatically collects certain technical data (such as IP address, device type, installation time). We have no control over this data; Google's Privacy Policy applies in this regard.
6. Your Rights
Since we do not store personal data on external servers, we generally cannot view, correct, or delete any data—as all data remains 100% under your direct control on your smartphone and will be completely deleted when you uninstall the app.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy if legal requirements or app features change. The most current version is always publicly available
