3. Microphone Access & Voice Data Processing
Our application features interactive pronunciation practice and speech recognition (AI Voice Coach) to assist learners in mastering Vietnamese phonics, tones, and vocabulary.
3.1 Use of Microphone Permission (`RECORD_AUDIO`)
* The Application requests access to the device's microphone solely when the user actively taps the microphone button to practice pronouncing letters, words, or reading story sentences.
3.2 Ephemeral Processing & Zero Voice Storage
* Real-time Evaluation: The recorded audio snippet is securely transmitted over HTTPS/TLS to the Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API strictly to convert the voice into text for real-time accuracy scoring.
* Immediate Deletion: Audio data is processed in-memory (ephemerally) and is immediately discarded as soon as the speech recognition response is received.
* No Voice Storing: We NEVER save, record, archive, or retain any voice recordings on our servers, on Google Cloud, or locally on the device.
* No Voice Identification: Voice data is never linked to personal identities, never used to train generalized biometric models, and never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

4.1 Account Information (Optional - For Parents & Guardians Only)
Account creation is completely optional. Users can enjoy all offline learning stages without creating an account.
When an adult parent or guardian chooses to create an account to back up and synchronize learning progress across devices, we collect:
* Account Credentials: Email address, Phone number, or Google Sign-In profile (Display Name and Email).
* Purpose: To authenticate the parent account, secure access, and associate cloud-saved learning progress.
* Protection: This process requires passing the Parental Gate.
4.2 Learning Progress & Game State Data
* Data: Star counts, unlocked islands, completed writing lessons, pet garden virtual items, and pronunciation accuracy scores.
* Storage: Stored locally on the user's device (via encrypted local storage) and optionally synchronized to Google Cloud Firestore under the authenticated parent account.
* Purpose: To provide a seamless learning journey and track educational milestones.
4.3 Automatically Collected Technical Data
When running the application, standard non-identifying technical diagnostics may be processed by Android OS and Google Play Services:
* Device model, operating system version, screen resolution, language settings, and general non-precise system state.
* Purpose: To ensure responsive rendering across tablet screen ratios and maintain application stability.
* Precise Location: The Application does NOT collect, access, or track precise GPS location data.

* Zero Advertisements: "Learn Vietnamese: Magic Words" is 100% free of third-party commercial advertisements. We do not integrate any ad banners, interstitials, rewarded video ad networks, or sponsored content.
* No Advertising ID (`AD_ID` Blocked): In full compliance with Google Play's Families Policy, the Advertising ID permission (`com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID`) is explicitly removed and disabled in our Android manifest (`tools:node="remove"`). The application does not collect or transmit Android Advertising Identifiers.

We provide two straightforward, transparent methods to permanently erase all data:
Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly inside the application at any time:
1. Open the Application and tap Settings (Cài đặt) on the top bar.
2. Complete the Parental Gate verification challenge.
3. Scroll to the Account section and tap Xoá tài khoản (Delete Account).
4. Confirm your decision in the two-step verification dialog.
* Result: Your Firebase Authentication account, Cloud Firestore learning profile, cloud records, and local device progress are instantly and permanently erased from our systems.
Method 2: Web & Email Request (Web Deletion Request URL)
Parents and users may submit an erasure request without accessing the app by sending an email from their registered email address to:

* Account and Progress Data: Retained only for as long as your account remains active. Upon in-app deletion or email request, all records are permanently purged.
* Local Offline Data: Erased immediately whenever the user uninstalls the app or taps "Xoá tiến trình" (Reset Progress) in Settings.
