1. Data Storage and Offline Use Laptop Fixer Pro is designed as an offline-first application. All data you enter into the App, including customer names, phone numbers, device models, repair logs, prices, and photos, is stored locally on your device using a local SQLite database. We do not transmit, upload, or store this personal data on our servers. You have complete control over your data.
2. Permissions Required To provide its core functionalities, the App requires certain device permissions:
Camera & Photo Library Access: Used solely to allow you to take and attach photos of the devices you are repairing. These photos are saved directly to your device's local storage.
Storage Access: Used to save your repair data, images, and to generate or import backup (.ZIP) files of your database upon your explicit request.
3. Third-Party Services (Advertising) While the core app is offline, the App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob is a mobile advertising platform provided by Google LLC. Google AdMob may collect and use certain data (such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and usage data) to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements. 4. Data Backup and Sharing The App provides a "Backup" feature that creates a ZIP file of your local data. This action is entirely manual and initiated by you. The App also allows you to "Share" repair quotes using your device's native sharing capabilities. We do not have access to the data you choose to backup or share.
