# Privacy Policy for JerryApp
**Last updated:** [8/5/2026]
JerryApp is a Chrome extension built for internal use by dispatchers at Alliance Cargo Inc. It automates and streamlines daily dispatch workflows across Dispatchland CRM, Gmail, and Google Chat/Spaces. This policy explains what data JerryApp accesses, how it's stored, and whether it's shared with anyone.
## What data JerryApp accesses
To do its job, JerryApp reads and interacts with content on the following sites, only while you're using it:
- **Dispatchland CRM** (e.g. ac.dispatchland.com and other configured CRM subdomains) — truck, load, and travel order information visible on the page; your existing logged-in session is used to make additional read requests to the CRM's own API (e.g. to look up truck type or assigned dispatcher).
- **Gmail** (mail.google.com) — the compose box content, to detect specific phrases you type (e.g. "checking on it") for logging purposes; message ID and subject line of the email you're viewing; the Gmail account identifier in the page URL, to tell which of your configured accounts (e.g. Tracking, Update) you're using.
- **Google Chat / Spaces** (chat.google.com) — the space name and compose box content, for the same logging purpose as above.
JerryApp does not access any other websites, and does not read your browsing history.
## What data JerryApp stores
The following is stored locally in your browser (`chrome.storage.local`), on your own device — not on any server we operate:
- Custom AI prompts and text snippets you've created
- A list of blocked email addresses you've configured
- A log of "Checking" entries (truck/load numbers, timestamps, and a link back to the relevant email, CRM chat, or Chat space)
- Manually-applied load labels (e.g. Broken, Fixed, Recovery)
- Your configured Gmail account IDs and CRM account mappings, used to open the correct Gmail tab when you click a quick-search button
- Your role (admin or colleague) and feature on/off preferences within the extension
This data stays on your device and syncs only with Chrome's own built-in extension storage. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this data.
## Third-party sharing
When you manually use an AI prompt feature (e.g. "make this sound professional"), the text you're working with is sent to **Google's Gemini API** to generate a rewritten version. This only happens when you explicitly trigger that feature — it does not happen automatically or in the background. Use of the Gemini API is subject to [Google's own privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third party. We do not use your data for advertising.
## Data retention and deletion
Your data remains in local browser storage until you remove it yourself — either by deleting individual items within the extension (e.g. clearing the Checking Log, removing a snippet) or by using the built-in "Reset to Defaults" option, or by uninstalling the extension entirely, which removes all locally stored data.
