1. Data Collection & Storage

Offline-First Storage: Intent Gap operates strictly offline-first. All intentions, category selections, focus session logs, target durations, focus ratings, and reflection notes created within the app are stored exclusively on your local device using an encrypted Room SQLite database.

No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal identification (such as name, email address, or phone number) to use Intent Gap.

No Third-Party Analytics or Tracking: We do not collect, transmit, track, or share any personal data, analytics, device identifiers, or usage logs with external servers or third parties.

2. Device Permissions

Intent Gap requires no sensitive device permissions (such as location, camera, contacts, or microphone) to function. Standard system notifications may be requested solely for timer completion alerts on your device.

3. Data Control & Deletion

Since all data resides on your local device:

You retain complete control over your data.

•

You can edit or delete any intention or reflection log directly within the app at any time.

•

Uninstalling the application or clearing the app's storage via Android Settings will permanently remove all stored intentions and reflections from your device.

4. Children’s Privacy

Intent Gap does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13.
