The core features of Sipy - Water Reminder are designed as a standalone, offline utility to help you stay hydrated and track your progress.
No Accounts: We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (such as your name or email address) to use the App.
Offline Storage: All data generated by the App—including your reminder schedules, hydration preferences, and your daily and monthly water intake history—is stored locally and securely on your personal device. We do not maintain external servers and have absolutely no access to your personal hydration records.
Data Deletion: If you uninstall the App or clear the App's data from your device settings, your entire locally stored hydration history and preferences will be permanently deleted.
2. Third-Party Advertising Services
To keep this App free to use, we display third-party banner advertisements. While we do not collect or store your data, these third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) automatically embed software development kits (SDKs) into the App.
To serve relevant ads, perform traffic analytics, and prevent ad fraud, these third-party ad networks may automatically collect and share certain information from your device, including:
Device and Other IDs: Your Google Advertising ID (AAID), device type, and operating system version.

The App allows you to set local notifications to remind you to drink water and track your intake over time. The App includes the following core features, which function entirely offline on your device:
Hydration Tracking: You can log and view your daily and monthly water intake directly within the App to monitor your habits.
Master Toggle Switch: You have full control to toggle all reminders on or off at any time directly within the App.
Interval Mode: Set recurring reminders at regular intervals (e.g., every 2 hours).
Specific Alarms: Set precise, customized times for your reminders (e.g., exactly 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM).
Bedtime Do Not Disturb: Your rest is just as important as your hydration. Configure your sleep schedule, and Sipy - Water Reminder will automatically pause all notifications so you are never disturbed during your bedtime.
4. Device Permissions
To function correctly, the App requests the following local device permissions:
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required to display the visual water reminders on your screen.
Alarms & Reminders (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required specifically for the "Specific Alarms" mode to ensure your reminders are delivered at the exact time you schedule them, rather than being delayed or blocked by your device's background battery-saving features.
These permissions are used strictly to trigger local alerts on your device. We do not use these permissions to track your behavior or collect personal information.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time if we introduce new features to the App or alter our ad provider setups. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "26 June 2026" at the top.
