This Privacy Policy describes how Alive Check ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
To provide our safety monitoring service, we collect the following limited information:
User Information: Your name (optional) and your check-in history.
Emergency Contact Information: Names and email addresses of the individuals you designate to be notified in an emergency.
Technical Data: We may collect your IP address and device type for security purposes and to prevent abuse of our email notification system (rate limiting).
We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:
Safety Monitoring: To track your check-in intervals and determine if an alert needs to be sent.
Emergency Notifications: To send automated emails to your designated contacts if you miss a scheduled check-in.
App Functionality: To provide reminder notifications so you don't forget to check in.
Security: To prevent spam and abuse of our automated systems.
Your data is stored securely using professional third-party providers:
Supabase: We use Supabase to store your check-in status and contact list in a secure cloud database.
Resend: We use the Resend API to deliver emergency and test emails.
Google AdMob: Our App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may use advertising identifiers to serve personalized ads. You can manage these settings in your device's Google settings.
We do not sell your personal information or your emergency contacts' information to third parties. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above as needed to perform the App's core functions (sending emails and storing data).
We retain your personal information (Name and Email) and Emergency Contact details only as long as you use the App. We do not store this data longer than necessary for the App to function.
We believe you should have full control over your data.
In-App Deletion: You can delete or edit your Name and your Emergency Contacts at any time directly within the App's "Settings" or "Manage Contacts" screens. Deleting these items within the App will remove them from our secure cloud database.
Request Deletion: You have the right to request the permanent deletion of all data associated with your unique ID from our systems at any time. To do so, please contact us atÂ
