Welcome to the GoldArrowTracker privacy policy. This document explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the GoldArrowTracker mobile application ("App") and its associated services.
When you sign in using Google OAuth, we collect and store:
Your Google Subject ID (used for authentication).
Your Email Address.
Your Display Name and Profile Picture URL.
To provide our core features, we collect and store your generated app data:
Session Data: Your archery sessions, scores, and arrow impacts.
Equipment Profiles: Configurations for your bows and setups.
Images: Photos you capture of target faces and arrows using the App.
The App requires certain permissions to function:
Camera Access: Used exclusively to capture images of your archery target faces to run our on-device object detection model for scoring arrows.
Network Access: Used to synchronize your account, sessions, and images with our backend server to ensure you can access your data across devices.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
Authentication: To log you into the application securely using Google OAuth.
Core Functionality: To store, sync, and display your archery scores, equipment profiles, and session history across the Android app and the Web app.
Image Processing: Images you take are processed locally on your device for immediate scoring and then uploaded to our server so you can review your sessions later.
Your data is stored securely on our backend server using an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Images of targets are stored on our server to preserve your session history.
The original ONNX object detection process runs locally on your device for speed and privacy, though the captured images are eventually synchronized with your account securely.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share information with minimal necessary third-party services required for the App to function:
Google: For account authentication (Google Sign-In).
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.
You can request data deletion or account removal by contacting us via the support email (see Section 7) or through any provided in-app account deletion mechanism.
Upon a deletion request, all your identifiable data, sessions, bow profiles, and uploaded images will be permanently removed from our databases.
GoldArrowTracker is open-source software distributed under the GNU AGPL v3.0 license. We believe in transparency regarding how our code functions and handles your data. The source code can be reviewed by anyone.
