EduManage is designed for authorised teachers and parents associated with educational institutions.
Depending on your role and the features you use, EduManage may process:
Name, email address, phone number, account ID, role, and institution name.
Login credentials and authentication tokens used to access your account.
Teacher attendance information, including check-in and check-out times and attendance status.
Precise location, including latitude, longitude, location accuracy, and distance from the institution, when a teacher uses self-attendance.
Camera data used to scan an attendance QR code and capture a teacher attendance selfie.
Student information, including name, roll number, admission number, class, section, attendance, examination results, marks, and academic remarks.
Basic technical information, such as IP address, request time, and error or security logs.
The app stores account information and authentication tokens on the device to keep users signed in. The entered password is not stored by the mobile app after login.
EduManage requests camera and precise location permissions only for teacher self-attendance.
The camera is used to:
Scan the institution’s attendance QR code.
Capture a teacher’s attendance selfie.
Precise location is used to confirm that the teacher is near the authorised institution when recording attendance.
EduManage does not continuously track users or collect background location. Attendance selfies are not used for advertising or facial-recognition profiling.
Users may deny or revoke these permissions through their device settings. The self-attendance feature will not work without the required camera and location permissions, but other available features may continue to work.
We use information to:
Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
Provide teacher and parent account features.
Verify teacher self-attendance.
Maintain student attendance and academic records.
Display records to authorised teachers, parents, and institution administrators.
Prevent misuse and protect the security of the service.
Diagnose errors and maintain application reliability.
Comply with applicable legal requirements.
Information may be shared only when necessary with:
The educational institution that issued the user’s account.
Authorised institution administrators and teachers.
Parents or guardians authorised to access their linked children’s records.
Service providers that host, secure, store, or support EduManage.

EduManage does not sell personal information. The app does not contain third-party advertising and does not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
Teacher attendance selfies are automatically deleted from the service after 40 days.
Account, attendance, and academic records may be retained for as long as required by the educational institution for educational, employment, administrative, security, and legal purposes.
Authentication information stored on the device remains until the user signs out, clears the app’s data, or uninstalls the app.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of account, attendance, or student information, contact the educational institution that issued the account. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate institutional obligations.
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organisational safeguards to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Production communication between the app and its servers is transmitted using HTTPS.
However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
EduManage is intended for use by authorised teachers and parents or guardians. It is not intended for direct use by children.
The app may process student information supplied and managed by an educational institution or parent or guardian for legitimate educational purposes. Parents or guardians with concerns about a child’s information should contact the educational institution responsible for the record.
Depending on applicable law, users may request access to, correction of, restriction of, export of, or deletion of their personal information.

Revoke camera or location permissions through device settings.
Sign out to remove the locally stored session.
