DuoFrame is designed to be a "Privacy-First" application.
No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to our servers.
Local Processing: All video processing, cropping, and rendering happen locally on your iPhone. Your video files never leave your device unless you manually share them.
To provide its core functionality, DuoFrame requires your permission to access:
Camera: To record video in multiple formats simultaneously.
Microphone: To capture audio for your video recordings.
Photo Library: To save the generated video files directly to your device's Camera Roll.
This data is used only in real-time for the purpose of recording. We do not record or monitor your camera or microphone in the background.
DuoFrame may use third-party services to improve the user experience:
RevenueCat: If you purchase a subscription or "Pro" version, we use RevenueCat to manage your subscription status. RevenueCat sees an anonymous identifier related to your App Store receipt but does not have access to your personal identity or video files.
Apple In-App Purchases: All financial transactions are handled securely by Apple. We do not see or store your credit card information.
Because your data stays on your device, the security of your videos depends on your device's security settings (FaceID, Passcode, etc.). We recommend keeping your iOS updated to the latest version for maximum security.
Our App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. DuoFrame is safe for all users as it does not have a social networking component or cloud storage.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
