A. Personal Data

ClipGrab is designed to operate without requiring account registration. We do not collect "Personal Data" in the traditional sense, such as your legal name, physical address, or phone number.

B. Technical Data & Link Processing

When you input a URL into the App, that link is transmitted to our backend infrastructure to facilitate the retrieval of media metadata (e.g., video duration, resolution, and download headers).

• Transitory Processing: This data is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently on our servers.

• Non-Persistent: Once the media information is delivered to your device, the link data is purged from our active processing memory.

C. Clipboard Data

The App includes a feature that scans the system clipboard for compatible URLs. This occurs strictly in the foreground while the App is active. We do not monitor, store, or transmit any clipboard data that does not match supported media URL patterns.

3. Data Storage and Media Handling

ClipGrab functions as a local utility. Any content (videos or audio) downloaded via the App is stored directly on your device’s local storage or SD card.

• No Cloud Synchronization: We do not provide, manage, or have access to any cloud storage for your downloaded files.

• System Media APIs: We utilize standard Android MediaStore APIs to ensure your downloads are visible in your device's gallery or file manager.

4. Third-Party Service Providers (Advertising & Analytics)

To provide the App free of charge, we integrate third-party advertising SDKs. These partners may collect and process data to serve personalized or contextual advertisements.

• Primary Partner: Yodo1 MAS and its associated ad networks (e.g., AppLovin, AdMob, Unity Ads, ironSource).

• Data Collected: These third parties may collect device-specific information, including but not limited to:

  • IP Address and Geographic Location (City/Country level).

  • Advertising IDs (GAID/AAID).

  • App usage statistics and ad interaction data.

• Purpose: For ad delivery, frequency capping, attribution, and fraud prevention.

5. Permissions and Device Access

To function correctly, ClipGrab requires the following permissions:

• Internet Access: To fetch media data and display advertisements.

• Storage/Media Access: To write downloaded files to your device.

• Notifications: To alert you when a download is complete or to provide app-related updates.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA/GDPR Compliance)

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

• Your use of the App is for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
