This Privacy Policy describes how CleanAI pro (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our Android application. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
CleanAI pro is a storage and media utility app on Google Play.
Most features run on your device. Photos, videos, audio, files you browse, duplicate detection, compression, contact duplicate review, storage browsing, and similar tools process data on the device to show results and perform actions you choose (e.g. delete or move selected files).
We do not sell your personal information.
Email check sends the address you enter to a third-party service over the internet (see Section 5).
The App does not use an in-app login for normal cleanup use; there is no account database run by us for that flow.
Permissions are used only as needed for features you use. Depending on device and Android version, this may include:
Photos & images — browse, preview, compress, duplicates, optional cleanup, storage explorer where the OS allows.
Videos — browse, preview, compress, large-file views, storage explorer.
Audio — browse/manage where the feature exists.
Contacts (read/write) — find possible duplicates; changes only after you confirm.
Storage / files — storage overview, folder listing where allowed, copy, move, delete, or open files you select.
Internet — Email check (Section 5); opening links in the browser where applicable.
Older Android versions may still show legacy storage permissions; newer versions follow Google’s scoped access rules.
Device / system info: The App may read system-level information (e.g. storage totals, battery or memory style indicators) locally to show informational screens. This is not described as a separate cloud analytics product operated by us.
The App may save small preferences on the device (e.g. onboarding completed) using normal app storage. Media, contacts, and file actions run on device under Android’s security model and the permissions you grant.
When you use Email check (breach / exposure style check):
The email address you enter is sent over HTTPS to a third-party API for aggregated public breach information.
The App uses XposedOrNot for that request only.
We do not control their servers. Their practices are covered by their terms and privacy policy — review them if you use this feature.
Do not use Email check if you do not want that address sent to that service.
We use the response only to show results in the App.
“Open with”, Share, or browser links leave the App; those services have their own policies. Installed-app listings (where available) use system APIs on device unless you share elsewhere.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect children’s data for marketing. If you think a child contacted us by email, write to techbrodaniel@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps regarding email records (the App does not host child profiles).
We rely on platform-supported APIs (scoped storage, permission dialogs, HTTPS where network is used). No system is perfectly secure — keep your device updated and use a lock screen.
On-device processing follows your device and Play terms. Email check traffic may go to servers outside your country, per the third-party provider.
Revoke permissions: Settings → Apps → CleanAI pro → Permissions (some features will stop working).
Uninstall removes the App’s own app data; it does not undo deletions you already made to photos/contacts/files through the App.
We may update this policy; the Effective date will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the new policy. We may also note changes on the Play listing or in-app where practical.
