Privacy Policy for BirdLog

BirdLog ("the App") is a mobile application developed for ornamental bird keepers. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
BirdLog does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with external servers or third parties.
All data you enter into the App — including bird profiles, photos, feeding logs, health records, breeding records, financial records, and tasks — is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database.
The App does not require an internet connection, user account, login, or registration to function.
The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect certain device information for the purpose of displaying relevant ads. This is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy, available at:

You may opt out of personalized ads through your device's advertising settings.
The App may request access to your device's camera and photo gallery solely for the purpose of adding photos to bird profiles. These photos are saved locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
The App may also request storage access to allow you to export and import backup files (ZIP format) to and from your device storage.
All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not store any of your data on external servers.
How long your data is stored: Your data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed, or until you manually delete it within the App.
How to delete your data: You can delete individual records (birds, feeding logs, health records, etc.) at any time from within the App. To delete all data, you can uninstall the App from your device, which will permanently remove all locally stored data. Alternatively, you may use your device's app data management settings to clear all app data.
The App provides a manual backup feature that allows you to export your data as a ZIP file to your device's local storage or share it via your device's sharing options. This backup is stored wherever you choose to save it (e.g., local storage, cloud drive). We do not have access to these backup files.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to address the situation.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
