• User Inputs for Conversion: When you enter numeric values or text strings for conversion, the data is processed in real-time using local algorithms (including BigInt for high precision). This data is used solely to generate results across different bases and is not stored beyond your session, except if captured in the History Log.

• History Log: The App includes an optional "Activity Log" that saves your recently copied results for quick reference. This history is stored 100% locally on your device using localStorage and is never shared with us. You can clear this history at any time.

• Plain Text Data: If you use the UTF-8/Plain Text mode to encode strings into Base64, Hex, or Binary, this processing happens entirely on your device.

2. Automatically Collected Information

• Device and Usage Data: The App may collect non-personal information such as device type, operating system version, and app version to ensure compatibility and performance.

• Ad-Related Data: The App displays ads via Google's AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), IP address, and app usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more details, please consult Google’s Privacy Policy.

• Local Preferences: We use your device's localStorage to save your app settings, including:

  • Language preference (English/Spanish).

  • Operational modes (Signed/Unsigned, Text/Numeric mode).

  • Word size configuration (8, 16, 32, or 64 bits).

  • The "Activity Log" mentioned above.

3. No Collection of Sensitive Personal Data

The App does not require user accounts, logins, or registration. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as names, addresses, financial details, or biometric data.

How We Use Your Information

• To Provide App Functionality: Your inputs are used solely to perform calculations, display bit memory maps, and generate successive division traces for educational purposes.

• To Improve the App: Anonymous technical data helps us optimize the conversion engine and ensure precision across different device architectures.

• For Advertising: AdMob uses collected data to display ads. We do not have access to the specific profiles created by Google for advertising.

• Local Persistence: Your saved preferences and history are used to provide a seamless "Pro" experience upon reopening the App.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or conversion information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Sharing of Information

• Third-Party Services:

  • Google AdMob: For managing and displaying ads.

  • Cordova Plugins: Used for system-level functions like the Social Sharing API (to share the app link) and the App Update plugin (to check for new versions via a remote XML).

Data Security

All mathematical processing occurs on your device, significantly reducing the risk of data breaches.

• Local Storage: Be aware that data saved in the "History Log" stays on the device. We recommend securing your device with a PIN or biometric lock.

• Third-Party Security: Services like AdMob have their own security protocols; we are not responsible for their independent practices.

Children's Privacy

The App is a tool for developers and students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

• Access and Control: You have full control over your data as it is stored locally. You can clear the "Activity Log" within the App or clear all App data/cache via your device settings.

• Language & Modes: You can toggle all operational modes (Signed, UTF-8, Language) at any time through the Sidebar or Converter interface.
