This Privacy Policy describes how Focus Timer ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application on Android devices.
Focus Timer is designed to work offline-first. The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers:
Your focus tasks and categories
Your focus session statistics and achievements
Your app preferences (language, timer settings, sound/ambient settings, daily goal)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process the following data to serve and measure ads:
Device advertising ID (e.g., Google Advertising ID / AD_ID)
Device information (device model, OS version)
Approximate location (derived from IP address, when available)
Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via your device settings:
Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" / "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
When you purchase the "Remove Ads" one-time product, payment is processed entirely by Google Play (via RevenueCat as a billing intermediary). We do not collect or store your payment card information. Google's handling of your purchase data is covered by: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Your locally stored data is used only to power the app's features (timer, statistics, achievements) on your device.
Advertising data is used by AdMob to display and optimize ads.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.
The app requests the following permissions, used solely for core features:

Keep the timer running reliably while the app is in the background
Focus Timer is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your local data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its data.
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
Advertising data is managed by Google per their retention policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

## How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of any data associated with your Focus Timer account:
1. Send an email to **justin7858@gmail.com** with subject "Focus Timer — Delete My Data"
2. Include the Google account email used for purchases (if any)
3. We will respond within 7 days
Note: Most data (tasks, statistics, achievements) is stored **only on your device**
and is automatically removed when you uninstall the app. Ad-related data (advertising ID)
is managed by Google according to your device's Ad Settings.
