PRIVACY POLICY — Exam Center Supervisor
Exam Center Supervisor ("the App") is developed and maintained by an independent developer
("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you
use it.
1. OFFLINE APP — NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER
The App is designed to work fully offline. It does not require you to create an account or sign
in to use its core features, and it does not connect to any backend server operated by us. All
information you enter is processed and stored only on your own device. We never receive, see, or
have access to the data you enter into the App.
2. DATA YOU ENTER INTO THE APP
The App lets you store the following information locally on your device, entirely at your
discretion:
- Staff records (invigilators and support staff), including names, contact details, and roles
- Schedules, attendance records, and leave requests
- Announcements
- Incident and irregularity reports, including category, severity, reporting staff member,
candidate/seat number, description, action taken, and status
- Reports generated from the above data
3. DATA RETENTION — HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR DATA
We do not store any of your data on our own servers, because the App has no server component.
All data stays on your device for as long as you keep the App installed and choose to keep the
data. Since we never hold a copy of your data, we have nothing to retain and nothing to delete
on our end after you remove it — deletion is entirely in your control, on your device.
4. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
You can delete your data at any time using any of the following methods:
(a) Uninstall the App from your device, which removes its local database entirely.
(b) Go to Android Settings → Apps → Exam Center Supervisor → Storage → Clear Data, which erases
all locally stored records immediately.
(c) Individual records (staff, incidents, schedules, etc.) can also be deleted one at a time from
within the App's own screens.
5. BACKUP FILES YOU CREATE
The App lets you create a backup of your data as a ZIP file, and restore from one, using your
device's own file storage. These backup files are created and stored under your control (for
example, in a folder you choose or share yourself) — we do not receive or store copies of them.
6. PERMISSIONS THE APP USES
The App may request access to device storage/media in order to attach photos to records, generate
PDF reports, and create or restore ZIP backup files. These permissions are used solely for these
on-device functions.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed at children under 13. Because the App has no server and collects no data
on our end, no data about any user, including children, is retained by us under any circumstance.
8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The App does not integrate any third-party advertising or analytics services. It does not share
any data with third parties.
9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated
"Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of
the revised policy.
