PRIVACY POLICY — EVENTCUE
Last Updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how EventCue ("we," "our," or "the app") handles your information. Please read it carefully.
────────────────────────────────────────
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Data You Create (Stored Locally on Your Device)
EventCue is a fully offline app. All data you enter is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (SQLite database). This includes:
- Event information (title, date, time, venue, notes)
- Client contact details (name, phone, email, address)
- Rundown/script items
- Task and checklist items
- Financial records (income and expenses)
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of this data. It never leaves your device.
b) Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
EventCue displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect certain non-personal technical data to serve ads, which may include:
- Advertising ID (resettable identifier)
- IP address (approximate location, not precise)
- Device type and operating system version
- App interaction data (ad views and clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under Google's own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store any of this advertising data ourselves.

────────────────────────────────────────
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We do not use, analyze, or access the personal data you store in the app. All data you enter remains on your device under your sole control.
Google AdMob uses advertising data to display relevant ads. We do not control this process and do not receive user data from Google.
────────────────────────────────────────
3. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
All user-generated data (events, clients, financial records, tasks, etc.) is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database file.
Your data is retained on your device for as long as you continue using the app, or until you choose to delete it.
We do not retain copies of your data on any server, cloud service, or external system.
────────────────────────────────────────
4. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
You have full control over your data. You can delete it in the following ways:
A. Delete individual records:
Open any event, client, or financial record in the app and use the Delete option (swipe left on an item, or tap the delete icon in the detail view).
B. Delete all data:
Go to Settings → Generate Sample Data section (or use a file manager) — note that there is no bulk "delete all" button within the app for safety reasons.
C. Delete all data completely:
Uninstall the EventCue app from your device. This will permanently remove the app's SQLite database and all stored data from your device.
D. Delete backup files:
If you have created backup files (ZIP files exported via the Backup feature), these files are stored in the location you chose when sharing them (e.g., Downloads folder, cloud storage). You must delete these files manually using your device's file manager or the respective cloud service.
────────────────────────────────────────
5. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties.
The only data shared outside your device occurs when:
- You voluntarily use the Backup feature to export your data and share the resulting ZIP file with another service or person. This is entirely under your control.
- Google AdMob collects advertising data as described in Section 1(b).
────────────────────────────────────────
6. DATA SECURITY
All your data is stored locally on your device. The security of your data depends on your device's security measures (screen lock, device encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device secured with a PIN, password, or biometric lock.
We do not have access to your device or your data at any time.
────────────────────────────────────────
7. BACKUP AND RESTORE
The Backup feature exports your entire database to a ZIP file on your device. You can then share this file using any method you choose (email, cloud storage, messaging apps, etc.).
When you share a backup file, the security and privacy of that file becomes your responsibility. We recommend sharing backup files only with trusted destinations.
────────────────────────────────────────
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
EventCue is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through this app, please contact us using the information below.
────────────────────────────────────────
9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
────────────────────────────────────────
