SO WHAT IS LIVE WAVES?

LiveWaves is a social network on an event platform, built especially for Content Creators and in person demonstrators who are marketing and promoting their events and/or services. This platform was created to give performers, lecturers, instructors and presenters the ability to live video stream and earn money from consumers who will view their content. Without having to set up subscriptions or pay exorbitant fees.

This app is perfect for Music Artists and Musicians of all genres, Comedians, Fitness Trainers, Teachers, Public Speakers, Ministers, Seminar and Webinar Presenters, Therapists and Counselors, Craft Instructors, State Sanctioned physical combat (i.e. boxing, MMA, etc., etc.) Venues that are hosting particular events, Rap Battles, Yoga Instructors, VERZUZ battles, Talk Shows, as well as any other type of content that people may want to watch live from the comfort of their home or their mobile devices.

Our platform is built for everyone to communicate about current and future Waves. Any user, Any Celebrity, Any Band, Any Artist, Comedian, DJ, Singer, Rapper, Night Club, Dancer, Model, Yoga Instructor, Fitness trainer, Talk Show Host, Company and Webinar host, can create a stream for family, friends, clients or fans to watch...

HOW DO THE BUTTONS ON LIVEWAVES WORK:

SEARCH Button

How do I find people I know? Or people that are famous that I'd like to follow?

On the Search Tab, Go to the top where it says "Member Search" and input the person's name. If they are a member, they will show up in the search results.

How do I get the the app to find out where I am right now?

Touch the button that says "Current Location" and the app will place the country, state and city that you are in.

What countries are represented in LiveWaves?

The United States, The United Kingdom, Australia & Canada. Users will be able to find all kinds of content creators, in each of those countries.

What is "Choose A Category"?

"Choose A Category" allows each user to narrow and pin-point their search to particular areas of interest, or type of event they’d like to look for on any given day. Those Categories are Music, Comedy, Webinar, Fitness, Motivational, Venue and Other.

What is the Alerts Tab For?

The alerts tab is to notify you when someone has followed you, when someone tags you to comment, when someone comments on your page, when people check in to an event, when someone live streams, or when a ticket or pay-per-stream is paid for.

Do My Alerts Clear or Delete?

No... They stay, allowing you to see a history of what has transpired with your individual account.

What is the difference between Global and Following at the top of the screen?

Global will show you all the Waves that are happening everywhere.

Following will show you the Waves of the people you follow.

What is the + sign at the top for?

The + (plus) sign is for each user to create a live stream.

How do I create a Live Stream (Wave)?

On the Live Stream tab, touch the + sign at the top right hand corner of the screen. Enter a name for the stream where it says "Enter Stream Title". Next use the “Select Category” button to place your stream in a particular category that people may search. Lastly, choose to create a geo-locator for the stream by sliding the "Location" button to the right. Touch "Broadcast Now"

HOME Button

How do I see my profile?

Touch the home tab, and you will see your profile, have the ability to make comments on, read comments from others, as well as edit your pictures on your profile page.

How do I edit picture?

Touch the “Picture Camera” Button on your two pictures available in LiveWaves. On either icon, you will get the ability to change each of your profile pictures.

What does the number by the little person icon at the top mean?

The number next to the person icon at the top is the number of followers/connections each individual has.

What does the "Comment" button do?

This button allows users to make statements about the owner of the profile page, communicate to the owner profile page, the experience they have with the particular owner of the profile page, It allows conversations to take place, pictures and videos to be uploaded, to discuss and share how amazing the event was, etc., etc.

What does the Video Camera on the Page of other users do?

When you visit a profile page and the Video Camera is White, there is nothing going on. But when you see that button have a GREEN color, that means that this particular profile is creating a WAVE (live-streaming) and you can watch it immediately.

What is the Follow button for?

The follow button is made to allow users to "follow" and stay connected to favorite users on the LiveWaves app. By following another user, it will allow the follower to get notified of the comments, event posts, picture/video updates, check ins

etc., etc. of the person who they are following

What is the Follow button for?

The “Chat” button is our instant message or direct message system. As a user, you can begin a chat with any other user from this button. You can see all of your “chats”by going to the Settings tab, and touching the “Inbox” button.

There is a Calendar that shows dates, some with dots underneath them and some without, what does this mean?

The calendar on the profile page is to give the visitor to the profile page an idea of what events sponsored by, or being participated in by the profile being visited, are happening on those days of the week. If a date does not have a dot underneath it, that means there is not an event on that day. If the date has a dot underneath the number, this shows an event that has been posted by the user, or an event that has been checked into by that particular user. If the visiting user touches the date with a "dot" on it, and touches it again on the calendar, the app will show the user exactly what the event is, and allow the user to "check in" to it, view it, and/or purchase a ticket to it.

SETTINGS Button

How do I edit my profile information/picture?

Look for the "Settings" tab in the LiveWaves app. Once it takes you to the Settings screen, look for Edit Profile. This will take you to the screen that will allow you to Edit your profile picture, username, birth, city, state & country, email address, contact number as well as your PayPal email. Place the information that you want in, leave the information you don't want to place in this section out. There are two caveats. The first is, in order for other users tofind you in a city search, you will have to put in your city and state. The second, (and maybe most important) if you are a content creator and you want to be paid for your pay-per-view Waves, you will have to enter in your PayPal email address.

How do I create an event or set up tickets for an event?

Touch the "Create Event" tab. Upload your flyer where it says "upload your event pic here". Add your Event Title, The Start Date and time as well as the End date and time, whether or not it is free or if it is paid, set the price for a paid event, select the city, state/province and country. Once the information is in, complete and correct touch the "Create Event" button and your event will get posted in the app.

Why would I "check in" to an event?

Some event venues may have limited spacing, or the event organizer may only want to have a certain number of people attend. Another reason to check in is to let your followers and friends know that you'll be attending an event.

What is the “INBOX” Button For?

The “Inbox” button is LiveWaves’ instant messaging or direct messaging log. Here, as a user you will see all of the “chats” that you have received from other users. You can

initiate “chats” from other user’s pages.

To input your PayPal email address into LiveWaves:

Go to the Settings tab, then to the Edit Profile tab. Once there, scroll down past User Name, Email, Telephone Number, Address and Change Password to PayPal Email. Input the email that is attached to your PayPal account.
