By using DocumentMagic Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use this application.
DocumentMagic Pro is an all-in-one document management and file conversion application that provides:
File Conversion — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Images and more
PDF Tools — Convert, merge, split, compress, extract text
PDF Editor — Annotate, draw, highlight, add stamps, shapes, signatures, reorder/delete pages, and password-protect PDF files
DOCX Editor — Edit Word document text, formatting, tables and images. Save as DOCX or export as PDF
XLSX Editor — View and edit spreadsheet cells, formulas, formatting and charts across multiple sheets
Collabora Editor — Full online document editing for DOCX, XLSX and other formats powered by a secure cloud editor. Files are temporarily held on our server during the editing session (up to 1 hour) then permanently deleted
Document Scanner — Capture physical documents using your camera and convert them to PDF
User Accounts — Optional account registration with email verification for a personalised experience
Conversion History — A local log of your past conversions stored on your device only
Files you upload for conversion or editing (TEMPORARY — server only)
File metadata (name, size, type) required for processing
Email address and name if you choose to create an account (stored securely on our own server with bcrypt password hashing)
Anonymous device identifiers used solely for daily usage quota management
Anonymous usage statistics to improve the app (via Firebase Analytics)
We do not sell your data to any third party
We do not share your files with advertisers
We do not store any files permanently on our servers
We do NOT use Firebase Authentication — all account management is handled by our own secure server (documentmagicpro.com)
We do NOT track or store usage history on our servers
Files are uploaded to our secure server over HTTPS
Processed using the selected conversion or editing tool
Result is returned to your device
Standard conversions: ALL uploaded files are PERMANENTLY DELETED from our server immediately after processing — no exceptions
Collabora Editor sessions: Files are temporarily retained on our server for up to 1 hour to enable the editing session. After the session ends or the token expires, files are permanently and automatically deleted
If you register, your name, email address, and bcrypt-hashed password are stored on our secure server
Passwords are never stored in plain text
Email verification is required via a 6-digit code before account activation
Session data on your device is encrypted using AES-256
Sessions expire automatically after 30 days of inactivity
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app
Your session credentials are stored in AES-256 encrypted storage on your device
Conversion history is stored locally on your device only
Edited documents are saved to your device storage only
No conversion history is uploaded to any server
You can clear history at any time from within the app
Server (standard conversion): Files deleted immediately after conversion
Server (Collabora editing): Files deleted automatically after 1 hour maximum
Server (account data): Retained until you delete your account
Server (usage history): NOT tracked or stored at all
Device: History and settings remain until you clear them or uninstall the app
All file transfers use HTTPS/TLS encryption
Passwords hashed with bcrypt — never stored in plain text
AES-256 encrypted session storage on device
Rate limiting on all authentication endpoints (brute-force protection)
Email verification required for all new accounts
Automatic session expiry after 30 days
Daily usage quotas enforced per device to prevent misuse
Rooted and compromised devices are blocked for your security
DocumentMagic Pro requests camera permission solely for document scanning.
The camera is ONLY activated when you explicitly tap the scan button
Camera is used to capture document images for PDF conversion
Captured images are processed on our secure server
After conversion, the resulting PDF is returned to your device
ALL captured images are PERMANENTLY DELETED from our server immediately
No facial recognition, background recording, or automatic capture is performed
No images are stored permanently on our servers
You can revoke camera access at any time in your device Settings
DocumentMagic Pro requests storage permission to:
Read files you select for conversion or editing
Save converted and edited files to your device
Access documents for the DOCX, XLSX and Collabora editors
We only access files you explicitly select. We do not scan, index, or read any other files on your device.
The app includes a signature pad for signing PDF documents.
Signatures are drawn by you within the app
Signatures are embedded directly into the PDF on your device or server
No signature image is stored permanently — it exists only within the resulting PDF you save
We do not use signatures for identity verification or biometric purposes
DocumentMagic Pro displays advertisements served by Google AdMob.
Ads are provided by Google LLC via the AdMob SDK
Google may use your advertising ID to serve relevant ads
Interstitial ads are shown periodically during file conversions
Rewarded ads are shown before saving files edited in the Collabora or document editors — watching the ad is required to save your work
You can opt out of personalized ads in your device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
Ad revenue supports continued free access to core features
We do not control the content of ads served by Google

To ensure fair usage and service availability, free users are subject to daily limits:
25 file conversions per day
5 Collabora editor sessions per day
10 document editor (DOCX/PDF/XLSX) saves per day
Limits reset daily at midnight.
Premium features are coming soon. When launched, Premium will offer:
Unlimited file conversions
No advertisements
Unlimited editor sessions
Priority support
You will be notified when Premium becomes available. No charges will be made until you explicitly subscribe.
We use the following third-party services:
Google AdMob — in-app advertising
Our own secure server (documentmagicpro.com) — user authentication and file processing
Collabora Online — cloud-based document editing engine
Note: We do NOT use Firebase Authentication. All account registration, login, and management is handled exclusively by our own server.
No third-party service receives permanent access to your files.
You own or have the legal right to convert, edit, or share uploaded files
Do not upload illegal, copyrighted, or harmful content
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the service
Keep your account credentials secure
Respect intellectual property rights of others
Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
Do not use the service on rooted or compromised devices
DocumentMagic Pro is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
Data loss during conversion or editing
File corruption or processing errors
Service interruptions or downtime
Loss of unsaved work in the Collabora editor if the session expires
Unauthorised access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials
Any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use
Maintenance may occur without prior notice
No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service
Features may be added, changed, or removed over time
Daily usage limits may be adjusted at any time
This app is not intended for users under 13 years of age
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13
If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us immediately
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated date will be shown at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Users who have created an account in DocumentMagic Pro have the right to permanently delete their account and all associated data.
Option 1 — Delete within the app (Recommended):
Open DocumentMagic Pro
Go to My Account → scroll to Account section
Tap "Delete Account"
Confirm your choice
Your account will be permanently deleted immediately
Option 2 — Request deletion via email:

Use the subject line: "ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST"
Include the email address associated with your account
We will process your request within 7 days

You will lose access to any premium features associated with the account (when Premium launches)
If you reinstall the app and create a new account, it will be treated as a new user
To delete locally stored conversion history, go to My Account → Clear Cache
You may stop using the app at any time
You may delete your account from the Profile screen at any time
You may uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
You may contact us to request deletion of any server-side data
You may revoke camera and storage permissions in device Settings
You may request information about what data we hold about you
By tapping "ACCEPT", you confirm that:
You have read and understood these Terms completely
You understand how your files and data are processed
You agree to all conditions stated above
You are at least 13 years old
You consent to the display of Google AdMob advertisements
You understand that watching ads may be required to save edited documents in the free tier
If you do not agree, tap "DECLINE" and the app will close. No data will be collected or processed if you decline.
