CoreIgnite ("we," "our," or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how it's used.

Data We Collect

* Account identifiers: A unique user ID, created whether you sign in with Apple, Google, or continue as a guest.

* Email address: Collected only if you sign in with Apple or Google. Not collected for guest accounts.

* Usage data: App interactions (screen views, feature usage such as logging a workout, meal, or fast) via Firebase Analytics.

* Diagnostic data: Crash reports and performance metrics (e.g., launch time) via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance, to help us fix bugs.

* Meal descriptions (AI meal logging only): If you use the "Analyze with Groq" feature to log a meal by typing or speaking a description (e.g., "2 scrambled eggs with cheese"), that text is sent to Groq, a third-party AI service, to estimate calories and macronutrients. Voice input is transcribed on-device first — only the resulting text, not audio, is sent. This feature is optional and off by default; we ask for your permission the first time you use it, and you can log meals manually instead at any time.

Data We Do Not Collect or Transmit

Your steps, workout history, fasting sessions, and weight/height checkpoints are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties. Logged meals are also stored only on your device — the only exception is the free-text description you choose to submit through the optional AI meal-logging feature described above, which is sent to Groq solely to analyze that one entry.

Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (a Google service) for authentication, analytics, and crash reporting. Firebase's own privacy practices apply to the data it processes: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We use Groq (groq.com) to power the optional AI meal-logging feature. Only the meal description text you submit is sent to Groq for nutrition analysis; no account identifiers, email, or other personal data are included in that request. Health Data

If you grant Health access, CoreIgnite reads your step count from Apple Health to display it in the app. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted off it.

Your Choices

* You can use the app as a guest without providing any personal information.

* You can decline to use AI meal logging and log meals manually instead — no meal data will be sent to Groq.

* You can revoke Health, Microphone, or Speech Recognition permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

Children's Privacy

CoreIgnite is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
