Effective Date: 15 Aug 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Connect to Inspect collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our home inspection platform Connecttoinspect.com.
When a homeowner uses the App to request a home inspection, we may collect:
Name and contact information
Property address
Type of home inspection requested
Payment and transaction information
Inspection-related communications
Information contained in inspection reports and other documents associated with the inspection
Payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider. We may not directly store complete credit or debit card numbers.
When an inspector applies to provide inspection services through the App, we may collect:
Name and contact information
Professional license information
Proof of insurance
Other information necessary to verify eligibility to perform inspections
Inspection-related communications
Inspection reports
Photos and other files uploaded as part of an inspection
We use inspector license and insurance information to verify inspectors before allowing them to accept inspection requests through the App.
Homeowners can submit an inspection request by providing the property address and selecting the type of inspection they need.
After an inspection request is submitted and payment is completed, approved inspectors may be notified of available inspection opportunities. The first approved inspector to accept an available inspection receives the assignment.
After completing the inspection, the inspector may upload an inspection report and photographs through the App.
Homeowners pay for inspections through the App.
After an inspection is completed and the required inspection materials have been submitted, the inspector is paid for the inspection, less a 20% platform fee retained by Connect to Inspect.
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Those providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
We may use collected information to:
Process and manage inspection requests
Match approved inspectors with inspection requests
Verify inspector licenses and insurance
Process payments and inspector payouts
Provide inspection reports and photographs to authorized users
Communicate with homeowners and inspectors
Maintain and improve the App
Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity

Inspection reports, photographs, and other materials uploaded by inspectors may contain information about a property.
We use these materials to provide the inspection service and make the completed inspection information available to the homeowner and other users who are authorized to access the inspection.
Users should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive personal information into inspection reports or photographs.
