Camera Data
The 3D Scanner app requires access to your device's camera to function properly. The photos taken through the app are stored locally on your device in the Pictures/SCANTABLE folder or in a custom location of your choice. We do not transmit, store, or access these photos on our servers.
Storage Access
We request storage permissions to save photos to your device's storage. These photos remain on your device and are not uploaded to any external servers.
USB Communication
The app communicates with Arduino devices via USB for triggering photo captures. No personal data is transmitted through this connection.
Log Data
If you enable logging in the settings, the app will create local log files on your device for troubleshooting purposes. These logs contain technical information about app operations and any errors encountered. Logs are stored locally and not transmitted to us unless you explicitly choose to share them for support purposes.
The 3D Scanner app processes all data locally on your device. We do not:
Collect or store any personal information on external servers
Transmit your photos or data to any third parties
Use analytics or tracking tools
Display advertisements (except for certain interstitial ads, as explained below)
To help support the continued development of the app, we display interstitial ads at appropriate moments during app use. These ads are provided by trusted third-party ad networks. We take steps to ensure that ads are displayed in a way that does not negatively impact the user experience.
Ad Frequency: We limit the frequency of interstitial ads so they do not disrupt your use of the app. Ads are shown in non-intrusive moments, such as between major app functions or when you are navigating away from a section.
Ad Data: We do not directly collect personal data from ads. However, third‑party advertising partners such as Appodeal and its integrated ad networks may collect data (for example advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, and app interaction data) in order to show and measure ads. Any such collection and use is governed by their privacy policies.
Our app uses Appodeal, a mobile advertising mediation platform, to serve advertisements. Appodeal may collect and use information about you to provide personalized ads. This may include:
- Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)

However, when ads are shown, third‑party advertising partners (Appodeal and its integrated ad networks) may collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies, as described in the section “Third‑Party Advertising Partners”.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, data security is managed by your device's security settings. We recommend keeping your device updated with the latest security patches and using device security features such as screen locks.
Our app does not specifically target children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In accordance with Google Play's policies and GDPR requirements, we do not display personalized ads to children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our systems.
