- All data (saved citations, assignments, dark mode preference) is stored only locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.
- No data is sent to any servers, third parties, or analytics services.
- No cookies, tracking, or identifiers are used.
Permissions explained
- "storage" — to save your citations and settings locally
- "activeTab" and "scripting" — to read the current page title/URL when you click the extension icon
