Privacy Policy – Wellsent
This Privacy Policy describes how HiuHu (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Wellsent application.
1. Information We Collect
When using the application, we may collect:
Location data (GPS) to verify attendance location
Attendance photos captured through the device camera
Basic device information necessary for application functionality
2. How We Use Information
The collected information is used only to:
Record attendance (check-in and check-out)
Verify user presence at the designated location
Provide attendance photos as supporting information for attendance records
Prevent fraud or misuse of the attendance system
Connect the application to the specified Wellsent service
3. Location Usage
Location access is used only when performing attendance activities. The application does not track location in the background or when the feature is not in use.
4. Camera Usage
Camera access is used only when the user performs an attendance activity and initiates photo capture. The application does not access the camera without user action.
An attendance photo is optional for attendance verification and may be captured with or without a visible face.
5. Attendance Photos and Face Detection
Wellsent may capture and upload a photo when a user performs an attendance check-in or check-out. Attendance photos are used only as supporting information for the user's attendance record and attendance management.
An attendance photo may contain a person's face. Wellsent uses face detection only to determine whether a face is present in an image. This functionality does not identify the person in the image and is not used for facial recognition or biometric authentication.
Wellsent does not create, collect, or store facial templates, face embeddings, facial feature vectors, or other biometric identifiers.
A face is not required to perform attendance. Users may complete check-in or check-out even when the captured photo does not contain a face.
Attendance photos are uploaded to and stored on Wellsent's backend server infrastructure hosted on Hostinger. The photos are stored as attendance records and may be accessed only by authorized users and administrators of the relevant Wellsent account.
Attendance photos are retained for a maximum of three (3) months. An automated deletion process permanently removes attendance photos after the three-month retention period.
Attendance photos are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for facial recognition, biometric analysis, advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to attendance management.
6. Data Storage and Security
Data collected by the application is transmitted to the Wellsent backend server and stored on server infrastructure managed by Wellsent. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information. Attendance data, including attendance photos, is accessible only to authorized users and administrators of the relevant Wellsent account for attendance management purposes. We do not share attendance photos with third parties for facial recognition, biometric analysis, advertising, or profiling.
8. Third-Party Services
The application may use third-party services for supporting functionality such as maps. Attendance photos are stored on Wellsent's backend server infrastructure and are not provided to third-party services for facial recognition, biometric analysis, advertising, or profiling.
9. User Consent
By using Wellsent, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
