Thermometers attach great importance to the protection of users' personal information. When you use our products or services, we may collect and use your relevant information. We hope to explain to you through the "Thermometer Privacy Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this policy") the corresponding processing rules and matters when we collect and use your personal information, in order to better protect your rights and interests. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the thermometer service. If you further access and use the thermometer, it means that you understand and accept all the contents described in this Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by it. If you do not accept any of the above content, please stop accessing or using the thermometer.

II Permission application and application scenarios

We are very strict and restrained about the permissions that software needs to obtain on users' devices. During the use of this application, we will apply to you for the necessary permissions to use this feature. If you do not agree to enable this permission, please click "I disagree". Refusing this permission application will only affect your use of specific product features. We hereby list to you the permissions that the product may apply for and its intended use.

(1) Device Information: In order to ensure the normal operation of basic functional services, we provide you with problem diagnosis services and conduct data statistics. We will collect your MAC address, device manufacturer, device model, device language, device name, application list information, operating system and application program version, resolution, IMEI information, IP address, International Mobile User Identity (IMSI) base station information, device serial number, application package name and version, independent device identification, access date and time, software and hardware feature information data to identify user identity, record system failures, and analyze the causes of system failures. If the user manually opens the positioning permission and maintains the background status, it is necessary to obtain the user's MAC information to continuously locate and record GPS. We need to collect MAC information in the background to save crash logs, quickly locate the root cause of errors, provide crash statistics at the user level, and facilitate developers to reproduce user behavior and trigger crashes.

(2) Storage permission: Read and store app images and other files cached/stored on the phone, as well as read stored images and other files

(3) Location permission: When you need to use the location function and use our location-based services, we need to collect location information so that you do not need to manually enter your geographic coordinates to obtain the relevant services. Use the internet for location tracking and continuously collect your location information through GPS or WiFi. You can disable the location function through system authorization to stop our collection of your location information, but you may not be able to use related services or functions afterwards.

(4) Access to read photos or take photos: When you use the latitude and longitude camera, we will request camera access from you; If you refuse to authorize the provision, you will not be able to use the corresponding functions, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of the thermometer.

(5) We may share your account information (avatar, nickname, and other information shared with your consent) with third parties with your consent, so that you can easily register or log in to a third-party account. In addition, after logging in, your third-party account will be linked to the thermometer, allowing you to directly log in and use our products and services through the third-party account. We will use your personal information based on agreements with third parties and after confirming the legality of the source of your personal information, in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

(6) Log information: feedback information you have posted, your IP address, operating system version, hardware device information, network operator information, usage duration, browsing history, your feedback on the push information presented by the thermometer, information about your download and use of applications, and your use of third-party platforms

III Our purpose of collecting and using this information

We may use the information we collect or receive about you for various purposes, including but not limited to:

1. Summarize and analyze your public information to form a report;

2. Processing your submitted inquiries, subscriptions, or customized services, or allowing you to participate in surveys related to our products and services;

3. Manage membership qualifications and benefits (such as identity authentication, managing member accounts, organizing member activities, and distributing member benefits);

4. Operate and improve the services of the thermometer (such as designing and promoting customized services and products, delivering targeted information, enhancing user experience, promptly identifying and resolving technical issues with the thermometer, and providing you with more relevant advertisements to replace general advertising);

5. Promote the thermometer (such as collecting user information and creating analysis reports that reflect the overall distribution and interest preferences of users, creating marketing charts or other marketing materials, evaluating the effectiveness of advertising and other promotional activities in our services, and making improvements), but we will conduct de individualization on the materials.

6. For network security prevention (used for identity verification, customer service, security prevention, fraud monitoring, archiving, and backup purposes when we provide services to ensure the security of the products and services we provide to you);

7. When providing specific services based on special user requirements, information needs to be provided to our affiliated companies, third parties, or other users;

8. Other situations that are beneficial to the interests of users and thermometer operators and do not violate any mandatory laws and regulations.

4、 How do we share, transfer, and publicly disclose personal information

(1) Sharing and Transfer of Personal Information

We will not share or transfer your personal information to third parties unless authorized and agreed upon in advance by you, or unless the shared or transferred personal information is de identified and the sharing third party cannot re identify the natural person subject of such information.

1. In the following situations, we may share personal information

(1) To achieve programmatic advertising push, we may share de identified or anonymized information with advertising partners

We may share information with partners who entrust us with promotion and advertising, but we will not share information used to identify your personal identity (your name, phone number). We will only provide these partners with user profile tags and statistical information that is difficult to identify your personal identity, as well as de identified or anonymized information, to help them improve the effective reach of their advertisements without identifying your personal identity.

(2) Sharing with business partners to achieve specific functionalities

To ensure the implementation of thermometer related functions and the safe and stable operation of applications, we may integrate software development kits (SDKs) provided by third parties to achieve related purposes. We will conduct strict security monitoring on the software development kits (SDKs) used by our partners to obtain information, in order to protect data security. We have listed the relevant third-party SDKs for access in this privacy policy. Please note that third-party SDKs may have certain changes in data processing types due to version upgrades or policy adjustments. Please refer to their official instructions for accuracy.

(2) Public disclosure of personal information

We will not publicly disclose your information unless we comply with national laws and regulations or obtain your consent, except for disclosing necessary information about the relevant account when issuing punishment notices for illegal accounts and fraudulent behavior. We will adopt security measures that comply with industry standards when publicly disclosing your personal information.

(3) Personal information that is exempted from sharing, transferring, and publicly disclosing in accordance with the law

Please understand that in the following situations, according to laws, regulations, and national standards, we do not need your authorization or consent to share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information

(1) Directly related to national security and defense security;

(2) Directly related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;

(3) Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;

(4) For the purpose of safeguarding your or other individuals' significant legitimate rights and interests in life and property, but it is difficult to obtain your consent;

(5) Personal information that you disclose to the public on your own;

(6) Collecting personal information from legally disclosed information, including legitimate news reports and government information disclosure channels.

5、 How do we protect user information

1. We will take reasonable technical and other necessary measures to ensure the security of user information and strive to prevent the leakage, loss, or destruction of user information. This includes: (1) using encryption technology to ensure the privacy of your data during transmission; (2) Review our practices in collecting, storing, and processing information (including physical security measures) to prevent unauthorized access to our systems; (4) All Thermo employees, contractors, and agents who are required to access personal information in order to provide services must comply with the strict confidentiality obligations stipulated in the contract, otherwise they may be subject to disciplinary action or termination.

2. Although we strictly comply with the standards required by laws and regulations and have taken reasonable and effective measures as mentioned above, due to technological limitations and various malicious means beyond our control, Thermometer cannot always guarantee absolute information security. We will do our best to ensure the security of the personal information you provide to us. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you take proactive measures to protect the security of your personal information, including but not limited to using complex passwords, regularly changing passwords, and not disclosing your account password and personal information to others.

3. We will develop emergency response plans and immediately respond to user information security incidents to prevent the impact and consequences of the security incident from expanding. After the unfortunate occurrence of a user information security incident (leakage, loss), we will promptly inform you in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations. At the same time, we will also report the handling of personal information security incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements.

6、 How to update, change, or delete your information

When using our products and services, you will be required to provide your true personal information. You are responsible for the authenticity, legality, validity, and completeness of the information you provide, and should update and maintain your personal information in a timely manner to ensure its authenticity, legality, and validity.

7 Cookies and similar technologies

1. We suggest that if you are a minor under the age of 18, you should obtain the consent of their parents or guardians before using our products or services. We also recommend that minors seek the consent and guidance of their parents or guardians before submitting personal information.

9、 Scope of application of this policy

This privacy policy applies to all services provided by Thermometer and its affiliates. But it does not include services with independent privacy policies (such as products and services provided by third parties). Please note that this privacy policy does not apply to the following situations:

The information collected from third-party services (including any third-party websites) accessed through our services (this privacy policy does not apply to products and services provided by third parties, such as those provided by third parties on the thermometer, as well as other websites linked to in our services, which will have independent privacy policies to regulate, please refer to the corresponding policy provisions separately);

2. Information collected through other companies or institutions that provide advertising services within our services.

10、 Update of this policy

1. We may periodically modify and update this privacy policy. Regarding updates to the privacy policy, we will publish them in the form of notification notices on the Thermometer App. You can visit the Thermometer App to check the latest version of the privacy policy. For significant changes, we will issue a solemn notice to you (including for certain services, we will send a notification via email explaining the changes made to the privacy policy).
