3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features

To enhance your learning experience, the App offers optional AI-powered active-recall features.

3.1 AI Modes and Data Flow

• Off Mode / AI-Review Flag Disabled: When AI features are disabled for the App or specifically for an individual item, all data remains 100% local on your device.

• On-device Mode: Uses built-in or downloaded AI models to process data locally on your device hardware. Your notes and answers are not sent to any external servers.

• Cloud Mode: Uses an external AI provider (Mistral AI / Google Gemini) via a secure proxy. In this mode, your specific learning item (title and description) and your typed review answer are ephemerally transmitted for the purpose of generating questions and grading your response. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored by us for account-linking or persistent tracking.

3.2 AI Content Reporting

In compliance with Google Play’s Generative AI policy, we provide a "Report AI content" feature. If you flag content as inappropriate or incorrect, the flagged item’s content (title, question, answer, and AI feedback) will be sent to our support email to help us improve the system's safety and accuracy.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements (Banner, Interstitial, and Native formats). To provide relevant ads and perform analytics, AdMob may collect certain information, including:

• IP address (for coarse location)

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)

• App interaction and performance metrics

• Internet & Network State: Required for AdMob, In-App Updates, and Cloud AI features.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your local information at any time by deleting specific items, clearing App Data in device settings, or uninstalling the App.
