We are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. Lightera is designed to operate primarily offline and does **not** require user accounts, registration, or the collection of any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number).

## 1. Information We Access and How It Is Used
To deliver realistic physics simulations, interactive lighter effects, and optional features, the Application requests specific device permissions:
### 1.1 Camera & Flashlight Access
* **Android Permission:** `android.permission.CAMERA`
* **iOS Permission:** `NSCameraUsageDescription`
* **Purpose:**
* **Transparency Mode:** If you explicitly enable Transparency Mode, the Application accesses your rear-facing camera to render a real-time live preview behind the virtual lighter, creating an optical illusion that the lighter is held in your physical surroundings.
* **Hardware Torch & Strobe Effect:** The camera hardware interface is used to control the device's physical LED flashlight (steady illumination or rapid strobe pulse) when the virtual flame is ignited.
* **Data Handling:**
* The camera stream is processed **strictly in real time in volatile memory (RAM)** on your device.
* We **do NOT** capture, photograph, record, store, transmit, or analyze video frames, photos, or facial geometry.
* Camera access can be granted or revoked at any time via in-app settings or your device's system settings.
### 1.2 Microphone Access (Blow Detection)
* **Android Permission:** `android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO`
* **iOS Permission:** `NSMicrophoneUsageDescription`
* **Purpose:**
* **Blow to Extinguish:** If you enable the optional "Blow to Extinguish" feature, the Application samples the microphone to detect sound turbulence and acoustic energy characteristic of blowing into the device, automatically extinguishing the flame.
* **Data Handling:**
* Audio samples are evaluated **instantly and strictly on-device** via mathematical algorithms (RMS amplitude and zero-crossing rates).
* We **do NOT** record, save, store, transmit, transcribe, or process voice or conversations.
* Audio buffers are discarded within milliseconds.
* This feature is disabled by default upon installation and can be toggled on or off at any time.
### 1.3 Photo Library / Image Selection (Custom Skins)
* **Android Permissions:** `READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` / `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`
* **iOS Permission:** `NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription`
* **Purpose:**
* Allows you to pick a personal image or artwork from your device's photo gallery to create a custom embossed lighter case.
* **Data Handling:**
* The selected image is processed locally and saved **strictly in the app's private isolated sandbox storage** on your device.
* We never access your photo library without your explicit interaction, and your images are never uploaded to any remote server or shared with third parties.
### 1.4 Device Motion Sensors (Accelerometer & Gyroscope)
* **Purpose:**
* Simulates realistic flame physics in 3D space when tilting or swaying the device ("Concert Mode").
* **Data Handling:**
* Sensor data is processed entirely in real time on the device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
### 1.5 Haptic / Vibration Hardware
* **Purpose:**
* Provides tactile feedback when opening/closing the lighter lid, spinning the flint wheel, or striking sparks. No data is collected.

## 2. Local Storage & User Preferences
The Application uses local on-device key-value storage (`SharedPreferences` on Android, `NSUserDefaults` on iOS) to preserve user preferences, including sound toggles, flame themes, skin selection, and custom design paths. This data resides exclusively on your device and is permanently purged when the Application is uninstalled.

## 3. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The Application displays banner advertisements served by **Google AdMob** (Google LLC).
To serve relevant advertisements and analyze ad traffic, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect certain device and diagnostic data:
