This Privacy Policy applies beginning Jun27, 2026 (or upon installation). You may change your consent anytime in our App Settings. Calculator Private Lock (referred to as the App, we, us, or our) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we process your information to provide our secure local vault and app locker services.

1. Data Controller and Representative

Calculator Private Lock cares about the privacy of your personal information. Because our application operates 100 percent offline, we do not maintain remote databases or collect your data on external servers. All personal data and files remain solely on your device. We conform our data safety practices to global privacy laws, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this Privacy Policy, we explain how we process information locally on your device to keep your data secure.

2. What Kind of Information We Access and Process

In providing the Application, we access and process the following categories of information on your device:

2.1 Personal Information Personal Information is information that identifies you or another person. Because the App is fully offline, we do not require you to create an account (using email, phone number, Google, or Facebook).

The only personal information processed on your device includes:

• Security Credentials: Your secure Vault PIN and Fake Vault PIN.

• App Lock Configuration: Settings regarding which applications on your device you have chosen to lock.

• Biometric Data: Your fingerprint authentication preference. The App does not collect or store fingerprint templates; biometric verification is handled securely on-device by the Android operating system.

2.2 User Content (Vault Files) In order to hide, secure, and encrypt your files, the App requires access to the storage on your mobile device. This includes:

• Media Files: Photos, videos, and documents that you select to import into the secure vault.

• Private Notes: Text notes that you write inside the App's secure editor.

• Local Storage Access: The App uses storage permissions to move files from your public device folders into the secure, encrypted local vault folder.

• Metadata: We process metadata associated with your files (such as file names, sizes, and formats) strictly locally to manage encryption and decryption.

2.3 Non-Personal Information is information from which it is not practicable to directly or indirectly identify you. This includes:

• Device Information: Technical information about your device, such as your hardware model, operating system version, and device type.

• Installed App List: The list of installed applications on your device. This list is retrieved locally to allow you to select which applications you want to protect using the App Lock feature. This package list is never uploaded or shared outside your device.

3. How We Use Processed Information

We process your information strictly locally on your device for the following purposes:

3.1 To Provide the App Lock and Monitoring Services

• We access the list of installed applications to let you select which apps to lock.

• We check real-time usage data (foreground application launches) to identify when a protected application is opened so that the App can display the lock screen overlay.

• We run a continuous foreground service to ensure the app locking system remains active and secure.

3.2 To Provide the Secure Vault Features

• We encrypt and decrypt your photos, videos, and documents locally using hardware-accelerated local encryption (AES-256).

• We display your encrypted files and private notes only awithin the secure, PIN-protected vault interface.

3.3 Offline Integrity

• We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal data, files, or app lists to third parties or external servers. The App operates completely offline and does not establish connection to external networks for data collection.

4. How Your Information May Be Disclosed

Because the App operates 100 percent offline and does not store data on remote servers, we do not disclose, share, or sell your information to any third parties. Your data never leaves your mobile device.

Disclosure can only occur under the following actions initiated by you:

• When you choose to export (unhide) files from the vault back to your device's public storage, making them visible to other apps.

• When you use native Android sharing features to share a decrypted file from the vault to another application.

• Under mandatory legal processes where physical access to your device is required by government authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

5. Third Party Services and Links

The App does not integrate with third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising networks, or tracking analytics that collect or share your personal data. We do not display external web links or advertisements that transmit your information.

6. Account and PIN Security

You are solely responsible for memorizing and protecting your Vault PIN and Fake Vault PIN. Because we do not store your credentials on any server, we have no way to recover forgotten PINs or retrieve your locked files. Please keep secure backups of your important files before performing system updates, clearing app data, or uninstalling the App.

7. Security Measures

We employ physical, electronic, and administrative security measures on your device to protect your vault. All vault content is secured using local AES-256 encryption. While we use industry-standard security tools, please note that no local storage or encryption method is 100% secure against sophisticated physical attacks, device modification (such as rooting), or system compromises.

8. International Users and Data Transfer

All your data is stored on your local device. We do not transfer your personal data or files to other countries (such as the United States, China, or Singapore). Your encrypted files never leave your device.

9. Sensitive Information

We request that you do not send us or disclose any sensitive personal information (such as information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, health, or criminal background) through any support emails or feedback forms.

10. Data Deletion and Recovery

• Device-Only Control: All your data is stored strictly in your device's local storage. We do not have any access to your files or credentials.

• Uninstallation Data Loss: If you uninstall the App, clear its storage in Android settings, or perform a factory reset on your device, all files and notes in the secure vault will be permanently deleted. This data cannot be recovered by the Developer. You must export your files to public storage before uninstalling.

11. Children's Information

Calculator Private Lock does not knowingly collect or request personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App operates offline and collects no data from any user, children's privacy is protected by default.
