This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Password Generator Pro ("the App", "we", "us", "our") handles your information. By installing or using the App you agree to this policy.
Password Generator Pro collects nothing, transmits nothing, and stores everything on your own device. There is no account, no advertising, and no analytics. We never see any data you enter or generate.
Password Generator Pro is developed and published by [Developer name — fill in the name shown on your Google Play Developer account] ("the developer").

We collect no personal data. None.
We operate no servers, run no analytics, and use no advertising or tracking SDKs, so there is nowhere for your information to be sent and no way for us to receive it. The App does not ask you to create an account and does not request your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or any device identifier.
The App does not request the INTERNET permission. Without that permission, the Android operating system blocks — at the system level — every network request the App could otherwise make. This means data you generate or enter physically cannot leave your device through the App.
You can confirm this yourself at any time: Settings → Apps → Password Generator Pro → Permissions.
Everything the App saves stays in the App's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read:
Password history you generate, App-private storage ,Encrypted with AES-256-GCM; the key is generated inside the Android Keystore and cannot be exported
Your settings (theme, length, toggles). App-private storage. Standard Android app sandbox
Passwords you type into the Check a password screen are analysed in memory only. They are never written to history or anywhere else.
The encryption key lives in your device's hardware-backed keystore. If you uninstall the App, or factory-reset the device, the stored history becomes permanently unreadable.
The App requests exactly one permission:
USE_BIOMETRIC — used only to show the system fingerprint or face-unlock prompt when you choose to turn on the optional app lock. Your biometric data is handled entirely by Android; the App never receives it and is told only whether authentication succeeded or failed.
The App does not request the internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage-of-other-apps, or any other sensitive permission.
When you copy a password, the App flags the clipboard entry as sensitive so that, on Android 13 and later, the copied value is kept out of the on-screen clipboard preview and clipboard history. The App also attempts to clear the clipboard after the delay you set in Settings (30 seconds by default).
Please be aware of an Android limitation: from Android 10 onward, an app that is not in the foreground is not permitted to read the clipboard, so the App cannot always confirm the value is still present in order to clear it. In that situation the App deliberately leaves the clipboard untouched rather than risk deleting something you copied from another app. The sensitive-content flag described above is what protects you in that case.
The Share button hands the selected password, as plain text, to whichever app you choose (for example a messaging or notes app). Once the password leaves Password Generator Pro, it is governed by the privacy practices of that other app, not by this policy. The App warns you before sharing. Avoid sharing passwords over channels that keep a history.
You may export your history to a .txt or .json file. Exported files are not encrypted — that is the purpose of an export. Anyone or anything able to read that file can read every password in it. You choose where the file is saved, and you are responsible for keeping it safe or deleting it. Both export formats begin with a plain-language warning to this effect.
Because we collect no information, we do not use, process, profile, sell, or share any information about you. There is no data to use.
Your data lives only on your device and only for as long as you keep it there.
Delete individual entries or clear your whole history at any time from the History tab inside the App.
Uninstalling the App removes all of its data from your device.
Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on our end.
The App is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children, and directs no content or advertising at children.
Your history is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key created in, and confined to, your device's Android Keystore. Passwords are generated using a cryptographically secure random number generator (SecureRandom). That said, no method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for the physical security of your device and for any passwords you export or share.
The App itself integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or backend services. It is distributed through Google Play, whose own privacy practices govern the download and installation process and are described in Google's Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" and "Last updated" at the top and post the new version at the same URL where you found this one. Material changes will be reflected before or at the time they take effect. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
