MatchPoP is a Chrome extension that allows users to view football fixtures, live scores, match events, and competition information using data provided by API-Football (API-Sports).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting user data.

Information We Collect

MatchPoP does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information.

The extension does not require user registration, user accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, names, or any personally identifiable information.

Data Stored Locally

To provide its functionality, MatchPoP stores the following information locally on the user's device using Chrome Storage:

• API-Football API key provided by the user

• Selected favorite leagues and competitions

• Language preferences

• Extension settings

This information remains on the user's device and is not transmitted to MatchPoP developers.

Third-Party Services

MatchPoP communicates with the API-Football service (provided by API-Sports) to retrieve football-related data, including:

• Live scores

• Match fixtures

• Match events

• Competition information

• Team and league information

Requests sent to API-Football include the user's API key solely for authentication with that service.

API-Football may process requests according to its own privacy policy and terms of service.

Data Sharing

MatchPoP does not:

• Sell user data

• Share user data with advertisers

• Transfer user data to data brokers

• Use data for advertising purposes

• Use data for profiling purposes

Analytics and Tracking

MatchPoP does not use:

• Analytics services

• Tracking technologies

• Advertising networks

• Cookies

• Behavioral profiling tools

Data Security

User preferences and API keys are stored locally using Chrome's storage system. MatchPoP does not maintain external databases containing user information.
