This Privacy Policy describes how Trinetra collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Trinetra mobile application (“App”) on Android devices. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Availability of this policy: This Privacy Policy is available within the Trinetra app and at a publicly accessible URL for the duration of the app's availability on Google Play. The same policy applies to the app listed as Trinetra (or trinetra-app-frontend) on the Google Play Store. Our data practices are also summarized in the Data safety section on the app's Google Play Store listing.
Trinetra is a safety and pilgrimage management application designed to improve safety, crowd management, emergency response, and communication during pilgrimage events. The App is intended for pilgrims, volunteers, administrators, and the general public. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
We may collect the following types of information. Where required by Google Play or applicable law, we distinguish between data that is required for the app to function (e.g., account info for sign-in, location for safety features when you use them) and data that is optional (e.g., analytics, personalized ads). You can control optional collection via device settings and in-app choices where offered.
We may collect the following types of information:
Name
Email address

If you enable location services, we may collect and process your device’s location data (e.g., latitude and longitude) to provide:
Navigation and safety features
Emergency response and SOS functionality
Location-based alerts and updates
Lost and found reporting with place-of-incident information
You can disable location access in your device settings; some features may not work without it.
With your permission, we may access your device’s camera to allow you to report incidents or upload photos (e.g., for lost person reports). Photos are used only for the purposes you authorize within the App.
