Tasbih Counter (“Tasbih Counter”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our mobile application (the “App”) on iOS and Android.
A) Information you provide
No account required. The App does not require sign-up or sign-in.
No ads: The App does not display third-party ads.
Support messages. If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address and the content of your message.
B) Data the App stores on your device (on-device only)
Tasbih Counter stores your counter information and session history (e.g., counts completed shown in the Sessions tab), plus app settings, locally on your device so the App can function.
We do not upload your counts or session history to our servers.
C) Notifications (local scheduled reminders)
If you enable reminders, the App may request permission to send you notifications.
You can enable/disable notifications anytime in your device settings.
The App uses notifications only for reminders you choose (e.g., dhikr reminders).
D) Analytics, ads, and tracking
No ads
No tracking across apps/websites for advertising
We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising
We use information only to:
Provide the App’s features (including saving counts and session history on your device)
Respond to support requests
Enable notifications you choose to turn on
Comply with legal obligations when required
If you purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase, payments are processed by the app stores (Apple and/or Google) and we use a third-party service to manage subscription status (entitlements).
This typically involves processing purchase-related information such as:
Product identifiers
Transaction/receipt identifiers
Subscription status (active/expired)
We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payment information is handled by the app store.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only in these situations:
Subscriptions: Purchase/subscription-related information may be processed by the app stores and third-party services to validate purchases and enable paid features.
Legal and safety: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Business transfer: If we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
On-device App data (counts/history/settings): Stored on your device until you delete it using Settings → Reset All Data, clear the App’s data via device settings (Android), or uninstall the App.
Support communications: If you email us, we may retain those messages as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable support and security records.
Reset your data: Use Settings → Reset All Data to delete your on-device counts, session history, reminder settings, and preferences.
Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes the App and its locally stored data (platform behavior may vary).
Android clear storage: You can also clear the App’s storage/data from Android device settings.
Notifications: You can turn notifications on/off in your device settings at any time.
Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device’s app store subscription settings.
Tasbih Counter stores your counts, session history, reminder settings, and preferences locally on your device and does not upload them to our servers. You can delete this data at any time by using Settings → Reset All Data within the App, or by uninstalling the App (iOS/Android). On Android, you may also delete local data by clearing the App’s storage/data in device settings.
If you have contacted us for support, you may request deletion of those support communications by emailing tasbihcounterapp@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
Note: subscription and transaction records are processed by third-party platforms and may be retained as required for legal, tax, or compliance purposes.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
If you use the App from outside your country, information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above and make the updated policy available within the App and/or via the App’s store listing.
