Welcome to Sway's Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and processing when you use our AI-powered conversation assistant app. By using Sway, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We collect the following types of information:
(a) Images You Upload: Screenshots of chat conversations and social media profiles that you voluntarily submit for AI analysis. These images may contain text, profile pictures, and other visible content.
(b) Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, settings preferences, and app performance data.
(c) Device Information: Basic device identifiers and technical information necessary for app functionality.
(d) Subscription Data: Information related to your premium subscription status, managed through Apple's App Store.
(e) Optional Context: Any additional text or context you provide when requesting AI analysis.
Images you upload are:
(a) Transmitted securely to Google's Gemini AI service for processing and analysis;
(b) Used solely to generate conversation suggestions and insights for you;
(c) NOT stored permanently on our servers;
(d) NOT used to train AI models;
(e) NOT shared with third parties except as necessary for AI processing (Google Gemini);
(f) Automatically deleted from our systems after processing is complete.
Premium users can optionally save AI-generated results locally on their device, but the original images are never stored.
We use Google's Gemini API to process images and generate conversational suggestions. When you submit an image:
The image is sent via secure connection to Google's servers;
Google processes the image according to their AI services terms and privacy policy;
Google may retain data according to their data retention policies;
We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy for information about their data practices.
We do not control Google's data processing practices and are not responsible for their privacy policies.
Free Users: No conversation data is permanently stored. All data is deleted after each session.
Premium Subscribers: AI-generated results (text analysis and suggestions) can be saved locally on your device for future reference. These saved results are stored exclusively on your device and are not synchronized to our servers or cloud services. You maintain full control over this locally stored data and can delete it at any time from within the App. Original uploaded images are never stored, even for premium users.
The App integrates with the following third-party services:
(a) Google Gemini AI: For image processing and AI response generation.
(b) Apple StoreKit: For subscription management and in-app purchases.
(c) Apple App Store: For app distribution, subscriptions, and user authentication.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their collection and use of data. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Images submitted for processing: Deleted immediately after AI processing is complete (typically within seconds).
AI-generated text results: Stored locally on-device only for premium users, until manually deleted by the user.
Usage analytics: Retained for up to 90 days for app improvement purposes.
Account information: Retained while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation as required for legal and business purposes.
You have the right to:
Access any personal data we hold about you;
Request deletion of your data;
Opt out of data collection by discontinuing use of the App;
Delete locally stored conversation history at any time from within the App;
Manage your subscription and payment information through your Apple ID settings.

Sway is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at helloswayapp@gmail.com, and we will take steps to delete such information.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS);
Secure API connections with authentication;
Immediate deletion of processed images;
No permanent server-side storage of sensitive content;
Local device storage with iOS security protections.
However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Sway is operated from and subject to the laws of the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers are located. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the 'Last Updated' date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
