Sovereign Vale does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers. Your saved game lives on your device.
The app sends anonymous gameplay statistics — which buildings get built, which quests get completed, how long sessions last — so the game can be balanced and improved. These statistics are not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or any advertising identifier, and are never used to track you across other apps or websites. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Share anonymous usage data.
Your progress — resources, buildings, research, armies, decisions — is stored in a file on your device. It is not uploaded to the developer, and the developer cannot read it.
What is sent. Gameplay events only: a construction started or finished, a quest claimed, a crisis resolved, a battle fought, a daily reward collected, an in-app purchase completed, and a periodic snapshot of overall progress (town hall level, population, number of colonies, hours played). Each event carries your device model and iOS version so device-specific problems can be told apart from game-balance problems.
How you are identified. A random identifier is generated on your device the first time you launch the game, and is then hashed before it is sent. It exists only to group one device's events together. It is not your Apple ID, not your advertising identifier, and not derived from anything about you. Deleting the app destroys it permanently; reinstalling creates a new, unconnected one.
What is never sent. No name, email address, contacts, photos, location, phone number, payment details, or advertising identifier. No content you type.
Who processes it. The statistics are processed on our behalf by TelemetryDeck GmbH (Hamburg, Germany), whose servers are in the EU: https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy/
How to switch it off. Settings → Share anonymous usage data. When off, nothing is recorded and nothing is sent — not even stored for later.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. The developer never sees your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
If iCloud is enabled on your device, your saved game may sync across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account. This data is controlled by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy. The developer has no access to it. You can disable iCloud syncing in your device settings.
If you sign in to Game Center, leaderboard scores and achievements are submitted to Apple's Game Center service under your Game Center identity. This is managed by Apple. If you do not sign in, no scores are submitted.
No user accounts or registration
No advertising, and no ad identifiers
No selling or sharing of data with third parties for their own purposes
No cross-app or cross-site tracking
No collection of personal or financial data
Deleting the app removes your saved game and the anonymous identifier from your device. If iCloud sync was enabled, deleting the app also removes the associated iCloud copy. To have previously collected anonymous statistics deleted, email the address below — note that because the data is anonymous, you may need to supply your device identifier from Settings for us to locate it.
Where the anonymous statistics constitute personal data under applicable law, the legal basis is legitimate interest in improving the game, and you may object at any time by switching off usage sharing in Settings. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
