This Privacy Policy describes how SkinDesk ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy carefully.

1. OVERVIEW
SkinDesk is designed as an offline-first application. The App operates entirely on your device and does not require an internet connection for its core features. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your clients' data.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information You Enter (Stored Locally on Your Device)
The App allows you to enter and store the following information locally on your device:
• Client names, phone numbers, email addresses, and dates of birth
• Skin type and skin concern notes
• Appointment dates and times
• Treatment session notes and recommendations
• Photos taken or selected from your device gallery
• Product inventory details
• Financial records (income and expenses)
This information is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database. It is NEVER transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers by the App itself.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically by Third-Party Services
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect the following information automatically:
• Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (model, operating system version)
• IP address (used to approximate general location)
• App interaction data for ad targeting

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
3.1 Locally Stored Data
All data you enter into the App is used solely to provide the features of the App on your device. This includes:
• Displaying client records and appointment history
• Generating financial reports and charts
• Creating backup files that you choose to export
3.2 Advertising Data (AdMob)
Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is used to display relevant advertisements within the App. We do not have access to this data.

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
4.1 Where Data Is Stored
All your data (client records, appointments, sessions, photos, financial records) is stored locally on your device in a private application database. The data is not uploaded to any cloud service or external server by our App.
4.2 How Long We Retain Your Data
Your data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed, or until you choose to delete it. We do not set any automatic expiration on your data. You are in full control of your data at all times.
4.3 Backup Files
When you use the Backup feature, the App creates a ZIP file containing your database and photos. This file is stored in your device's temporary storage and shared only when you explicitly choose to share it (e.g., to Google Drive or email). We do not have access to these backup files.

5. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
You have full control over your data. You can delete your data in the following ways:
5.1 Delete Individual Records
• Open the App and navigate to any screen (Clients, Appointments, Sessions, Finance, etc.)
• Tap the delete icon on any record to permanently remove it
5.2 Delete All Data at Once
• Go to Settings → Data Management → "Delete All Data"
• Confirm the action in the dialog that appears
• All records, including clients, appointments, sessions, products, services, and financial records, will be permanently and immediately deleted from your device
5.3 Uninstall the App
• Uninstalling the App from your device will remove all locally stored data, including the SQLite database and any photos stored in the App's private directory
• Note: Photos you have exported or backup files you have shared externally (e.g., to Google Drive or email) will not be automatically deleted — you must remove those separately from the storage location
5.4 Photos
• Individual session and client photos can be removed from within the App by editing the relevant record and removing the photo
• Deleting a client or session record does not automatically delete its associated photos from the App's storage directory; use "Delete All Data" to ensure complete removal

6. PERMISSIONS
The App may request the following permissions on your device:
• CAMERA: Used when you choose to take a photo of a client or for a session record. Photos are stored locally on your device.
• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used when you choose to select an existing photo from your gallery.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used on older Android versions to save exported backup files.
• INTERNET: Required for Google AdMob to display advertisements. The App's core features do not use internet connectivity.
You can manage these permissions in your device's Settings at any time. Denying camera or storage permissions will prevent photo-related features from working, but will not affect other App functionality.

7. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information or your clients' information to any third parties. The only data shared with third parties is advertising-related data collected automatically by Google AdMob, as described in Section 2.2.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is designed for professional use by adults.

9. SECURITY
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend:
• Enabling screen lock and device encryption
• Regularly creating backup files and storing them securely
• Keeping your device's operating system and the App updated

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App integrates the following third-party service:
Google AdMob (Advertising)
• Provider: Google LLC
• Purpose: Displaying in-app advertisements

• Opt-out: You can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting your device's ad settings in Google Settings → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
