No Location Data: Although the app uses a latitude/longitude you enter for sight-reduction calculations, this data stays on your device and is never uploaded.

3. How We Use Information
Since we don’t collect any personal or usage data, there is nothing to use or share. All sight-reduction computations happen locally on your device.

4. Third-Party Services
SightGeist does not include third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or social media. We rely exclusively on the Android platform APIs and open-source libraries for astronomical calculations, without any telemetry.

5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit any of it to external servers. We follow standard Android security practices for file access—no special permissions are required.

6. Children’s Privacy
Our app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect when substantive changes are made. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
