Shutter Quiz is a photography learning quiz. Most gameplay progress is stored on your device. The App shows advertisements through Google AdMob and may offer optional in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. We do not require account registration to use the App.
The App may store locally (for example via on-device preferences):
Quiz progress (scores, streaks, unlocked categories, achievements)
Language preference
Owned in-app products / purchase flags restored by Google Play
Cached quiz content for offline use
This data stays on your device unless you clear App data or uninstall the App. Uninstalling typically deletes local progress.
The App uses Google AdMob to display ads (including banner ads and full-screen interstitial ads). Google and its partners may collect and process information such as:
Advertising ID / device identifiers
IP address and general device/network information
Approximate location derived from IP (not precise GPS from us)
Ad interaction and diagnostic data for serving and measuring ads

You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example, Android advertising / Ads settings, or applicable privacy controls in your region).
Optional purchases (for example thematic question packs or removal of interstitial ads) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your full payment card details. Google processes the transaction under its terms and privacy policy. The App may store a local record that a product is owned and can restore purchases via Google Play.
The App needs internet access to load ads, verify/restore purchases, and (where used) load certain remote images or configuration. If offline, core quiz content stored on the device may still work.
On supported Android versions, the App may request permission to send notifications (for example reminders related to streaks or engagement). You can deny or disable notifications in system settings. If push messaging services are enabled in a future update, additional provider terms may apply; this policy will be updated accordingly.
