ShiftLine: Work Shift Calendar ("ShiftLine," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information our mobile application (the "App") uses, where it is stored, and the choices you have. ShiftLine is built to work on your iPhone: your roster, shift types, hours and pay rates stay on your device, there are no user accounts, and we do not sell your data.
Roster and shift types: The days you paint, your shift types (names, colors, start and end times, breaks and optional hourly rates), your hitch templates and your job boards are stored only in the App on your iPhone.
Hours and pay estimates: Hours, weekly overtime and pay estimates are calculated on your device.
Reminders: Shift reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. There is no remote push.
Calendar export: If you choose to write work shifts to Apple Calendar (ShiftLine Pro), the App writes them to the calendar on your device. We never read or receive your other calendar events.
PDF and ICS files: Files are created on your device only when you ask, and you choose where to share them.
Widgets: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read the same on-device roster.
Subscription Information: If you buy ShiftLine Pro, Apple processes the payment. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history so the App can unlock Pro. It does not receive your name, email or roster.
Usage Analytics (when enabled): The App may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to measure which features are used and to fix crashes. This data uses a random, anonymous app instance ID. Feature events can include the name of a shift type or job board you use and the calendar day you painted, but never your hourly rate, pay or reminder settings. Google Analytics may estimate an approximate (city-level) location from your IP address.
We use the limited information above to:
Keep your roster, shift types, hours and reminders on your device
Unlock and restore your ShiftLine Pro purchase
Detect, prevent, and fix crashes and technical issues
Understand which features are used so we can improve the App
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
Your roster, shift types, rates and reminders are stored locally on your iPhone and protected by iOS data protection
We do not operate a server that stores your roster
Deleting a shift type or clearing a day removes it from the App; deleting the App removes all of its data from your device
Our App uses the following third-party services:
Apple App Store: in-app purchases and subscriptions (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/)
RevenueCat: subscription status and entitlements (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy)
Firebase (Google): analytics and crash reporting (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.
ShiftLine Pro is optional. It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store; we never see or store your payment details
Subscription payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings

You have the right to:
Allow or deny Calendar and Notifications access at any time in iOS Settings (the roster works without either)
Delete any shift type, hitch template or painted day in the App, or delete all App data by deleting the App
Ask us about, or request deletion of, any analytics or purchase data associated with your anonymous ID

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and publish the new version here.
