This Privacy Policy describes how Secure Offline Password Generator & Manager (the App, we, us) handles information when you use the App.
1. Overview
The App generates passwords and lets you save them in a local vault on your device. The App is designed to work 100% offline. We do not operate a cloud password sync service, and we do not receive or store your passwords on our servers.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
If you choose to save passwords, the App may store locally:
1. Title / label (for example Google or Facebook)
2. Generated or saved password text
3. Creation timestamp
This vault data is stored using on device storage (AsyncStorage) and remains on your device unless you delete entries, clear app data, or uninstall the App.
3. Clipboard
If you use the Copy feature, the password is placed on your device clipboard using the platform clipboard API. Clipboard contents are controlled by your device/OS. We do not upload clipboard data to our servers.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not:
1. Require account registration
2. Upload your vault or passwords to the internet
3. Sell, rent, or share your passwords with third parties
4. Use advertising or analytics SDKs that transmit vault contents
5. Security Notice
Although the App is offline and local only:
1. Device security (screen lock, OS updates) is your responsibility
2. Local storage is intended for convenience; it is not a substitute for a dedicated encrypted password manager if you need advanced protection
3. Anyone with unlocked access to your device may be able to open the App and view saved entries
6. Permissions
The App is intended to run without internet permission for its core features. Clipboard access is used only when you tap Copy.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Third Party Services
The App does not sync passwords through third party cloud services. Distribution via Google Play is subject to Google's policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
