1. Overview
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring is a media casting and playback application that allows users to browse, play, and cast supported media from their device, web pages, and local network to compatible playback devices such as Chromecast, DLNA, or other supported media receivers.
The App is designed to process most user data locally on the device. However, some features may involve third-party services, websites, advertising SDKs, or devices on your local network.
2. Information We Access or Process
a. Local Media Files
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring may request access to photos, videos, and audio files stored on your devices. This access is used only to allow you to:
Browse local media files,
Play selected media files,
Cast selected media files to compatible devices,
Stream selected local media over your local network to a playback device chosen by you. We do not upload your local media files to our own servers.
b. Web Browsing Data
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring includes a built-in web browser feature. When you use this browser, the App may store limited browsing-related data locally on your device, such as:
Browser history,
Bookmarked URLs,
Recently visited URLs,
Selected media links detected from web pages.
This data is stored locally to provide browser functionality such as history, bookmarks, and video detection. We do not operate a server that collects or stores your browsing history. Websites you visit inside the browser may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, cookies, tracking technologies, or data collection performed by third-party websites.
c. Cookies and Website Data
When using the built-in browser, websites may store cookies or other site data through Android WebView.
Cookies may be used by websites for login sessions, video playback, preferences, analytics, or advertising. In some cases, Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring may use website cookies or request headers locally to help play or cast media selected by you. We do not use cookies to create our own user tracking profile.
d. Local Network Information
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring may access network-related information and use local network features to discover and connect to compatible playback devices.
This may include:
Wi-Fi/network state,
Local IP/network connection information,
Multicast or device discovery features,
Communication with devices on the same local network.
This access is used to find and connect to casting or media playback devices selected by you.
e. Local Media Streaming
When casting local media, Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring may temporarily create a local media server or proxy on your device. This allows selected media to be streamed from your device to a compatible playback device on the same local network.
This local streaming is used only for playback/casting functionality. Your media is not uploaded to our own remote server.
Other devices on the same network may technically be able to communicate with your device while local streaming is active. We recommend using the App only on trusted private networks.
f. Advertising Data
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring may display advertisements using third-party advertising services, including Yandex Mobile Ads or other advertising partners.
Advertising partners may collect or process certain information for purposes such as:
Displaying ads,
Measuring ad performance,
Preventing fraud and abuse,
Frequency capping,
Personalization, where allowed and consented.
This may include information such as:
Device identifiers,
Advertising ID,
App interactions,
Approximate location derived from network information,
Diagnostic data,
Ad performance data.

3. Permissions Used by the App
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring may request the following Android permissions depending on your device and Android version:

Used to load web pages, play online media, display ads, and communicate with supported services.
Network and Wi-Fi State
Used to check network availability and discover compatible playback devices.
Media Access
Used to allow you to browse and cast photos, videos, and audio files from your device.
Local Network / Multicast
Used to discover DLNA, Chromecast, or other supported media devices on the same local network. The App requests permissions only when needed for app functionality. You can revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.

Browse and detect supported media,
Remember browser history and bookmarks locally,
Connect to playback devices,
Improve app functionality,

a. With Advertising Partners

6. Data Storage and Retention
Most app data is stored locally on your device. Locally stored data may include:
Browser history,
Bookmarks,
App settings,
Cached browser or playback data.
This data remains on your device unless you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the App, or use any available in-app clearing options. Some Android system backup features may back up app data depending on your device settings. Data processed by third-party websites or advertising partners is retained according to their own privacy policies.

Denying or revoking app permissions in Android Settings,
Clearing app data from Android Settings,
Deleting browsing history or bookmarks where available in the App,

Because the App includes a web browser and may display third-party advertisements, parents or guardians should supervise use by minors.
9. Third-Party Services
Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring may use or interact with third-party services, SDKs, websites, and devices, including but not limited to:
Yandex Mobile Ads,
Websites opened by the user,
Chromecast-compatible devices,
DLNA-compatible devices,
Android WebView and Android system services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect data processed by the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
When using local network casting or streaming, we recommend using Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring only on trusted private networks.
11. International Data Processing
Third-party services, including advertising providers and websites you visit, may process data in countries outside your country of residence.
Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
