This Privacy Policy describes how RETROZON ("the App", "we") handles information when you use the App on an Android device, distributed via Google Play. RETROZON is a fully offline arcade game. We designed it so that no personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared — by us or by anyone else.
No personal data is collected or processed.
No internet connection is used or required.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs that collect data.
No account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
All game progress is stored locally on your device only.
For clarity, the App does not collect, request, or have access to any of the following:
Personal information — name, email address, phone number, or any identifiers you provide;
Device or advertising identifiers — Android Advertising ID (AAID), device ID, or similar;
Location data — precise or approximate;
Financial information — the App contains no purchases; in-game "coins" are earned by playing and have no real-world value;
Photos, media, files, contacts, microphone, or camera data;
Usage or diagnostic data — no analytics, crash reporting, or performance monitoring services are integrated.
The App declares no permissions in its Android manifest. It cannot access the internet, your storage, or any device sensors. Sound effects and haptic feedback use standard system APIs that require no permissions and involve no data processing.
To make the game work, the App saves the following on your device using Android's local app storage (SharedPreferences):
high scores and per-mode records;
earned coins and unlocked items;
campaign mission progress and stars;
settings such as sound and haptics preferences.
This data is technical game state, not personal data. It never leaves your device, is not backed up to our servers (we have none), and is not accessible to us or any third party. Note: if you have enabled Android Auto Backup in your device settings, Android may include this local data in your own Google account backup — that process is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
The App integrates no third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect data. Google Play itself may collect data related to app installs and updates (such as crash statistics visible to developers in aggregate form) under Google's Privacy Policy — this happens at the store level, independently of the App.
The App is suitable for all ages and contains no content requiring age restriction. Because the App collects no data from any user, it collects no data from children, in line with COPPA, GDPR-K, and Google Play Families requirements.
Laws such as the EU GDPR and California CCPA give you rights over your personal data — access, correction, deletion, and portability. Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. All game data is under your direct control on your device (see Section 8).
Local game data is kept on your device until you remove it. You can delete it at any time:
Android Settings → Apps → RETROZON → Storage → Clear data, or
simply uninstall the App.
Either action permanently and irreversibly removes all game data. We cannot recover it, because we never had a copy.
Since no data is transmitted anywhere, the main safeguard is architectural: there is nothing to intercept, leak, or breach on our side. Local game data is protected by Android's standard app sandboxing.
If a future version of the App ever changes how data is handled (for example, if online features are added), we will update this policy, revise the "Last updated" date, and reflect the changes in the Google Play Data Safety section before the update is released.
