This Privacy Policy explains how Reception Staff Control ("the App", "we") handles information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy carefully.

1. OVERVIEW

Reception Staff Control is designed as an offline-first application. All data you enter — including staff profiles, shift schedules, attendance records, leave requests and announcements — is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate any servers that collect or store your personal data.

2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The App stores the following data locally on your device:
- Staff information: names, phone numbers, email addresses, positions, hire dates and employment status
- Staff photos: images you select from your device gallery
- Shift schedules and shift templates
- Attendance records (check-in and check-out times, attendance status)
- Leave requests and approval history
- Announcements and broadcast messages
This data is stored in an SQLite database file and an image folder inside the App's private storage directory. It is not transmitted to any external server by us.

3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect, transmit or store any of your data on our servers. We do not have access to any information you enter into the App.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect certain data from your device to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This may include:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Device type and operating system version
- App usage events for ad measurement
This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under their own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or control this data. You can learn more at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
To opt out of personalized ads, you can adjust your device settings under Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.

5. PHOTOS AND CAMERA PERMISSIONS

The App may request access to your device's photo gallery to allow you to set staff profile photos. Photos you select are copied into the App's private storage folder and are not shared with anyone. The App does not access your camera.

6. SHARING FEATURES

The App provides optional sharing features that allow you to share shift schedule PDFs and announcements via LINE, email or other messaging apps installed on your device. These shares are initiated by you and sent through the messaging app of your choice. We do not transmit any data through our own servers.

7. BACKUP AND RESTORE

The App allows you to create a backup file (ZIP format) containing your database and staff photos. This backup file is created locally on your device and shared only when you explicitly choose to share it (e.g. to Google Drive, email or cloud storage). We do not upload or access your backup files.

8. DATA RETENTION

All data stored by the App remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. We do not impose any time limit on local data storage. You are in full control of your data at all times.
Your data is retained until one of the following occurs:
- You manually delete specific records within the App
- You uninstall the App from your device, which removes all locally stored App data including the database and staff photos
- You use the App's built-in data management features to clear records

9. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA

You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time using the following methods:
(a) Delete individual records: Open any staff profile, shift record, attendance entry, leave request or announcement and use the Delete option within the App to permanently remove that record.
(b) Clear all data: Uninstalling the App from your Android device will permanently delete all locally stored data, including the SQLite database and all staff photos stored in the App's private directory.
(c) Selective deletion: Use the App's management screens to delete specific staff members, shift assignments, attendance records, leave requests or announcements as needed.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, deletion from the App means the data is immediately and permanently removed. There is no cloud copy held by us.
If you have created a backup file and shared it to an external service (such as Google Drive or email), you must delete that backup file separately from that external service.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

This App is intended for use by business managers and is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

11. SECURITY

All your data is stored in the App's private storage directory on your device, which is protected by Android's built-in application sandboxing. Other apps cannot access this data without root access.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
